I think Nintendo should turn the new Zelda game into an open world game like Fallout 3 or Skyrim. Imagine exploring caves and villages during the quest and using all of the amazing items to find new areas and complete unique dramatic story based quests. I'm not saying copy bethesda games, Nintendo had enough mythology and unique control mechanisms to build off of. But give the Zelda games that sense of immense adventure and exploration and make it a little more non linear.
Looks amazing.
Agreed. That's the most illuminating part of the article. I used to work for a video game store and I can't tell you how many parents I saw daily that were buying Grand Theft Auto for their ten year old.
So, I found the video and heard the entire thing. This was stated by a "scientist" brought in by FOX news. And the guys actually blamed facebook and reality TV more than he did video games. Here's the link. Look, this was said by a guest on a show, and not by any FOX commentator. And whether or not you agree with the scientist, he at least backs his claim up with an interesting premise. For the record, I think the scientist is generalizing. He's saying that video games and f...
Stating FOX news in an article and accusing them of something without a citation in not professional and smacks of political bigotry. I would like the full transcript of what was said before I comment on whether or not FOX is talking out of their rear-end.
But even if one of the FOX commentators like Bill O'Reilly did say something to that effect, I don't think it's as much of a political issue as a generational one.
I used to listen to these guys...
I just started playing Fallout 3 for my first time about three days ago. I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to play it, being that I've owned it for years. Perhaps I was worried that it wouldn't live up to Fallout 1 & 2 (two of my favorite games of all time). When I heard they made it a first person style game, I was very worried. And I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying it right now. My time spent with multiple playthroughs of part 1 & 2 have served me...
That would be awesome.
Interesting and honest point of view. I respect where this writer is coming from. This is why I think Wii U will succeed. The console caters to all tastes, and to people of all different gaming preferences. The sit around the tv and have a fun party with a group of friends type will be more than satisfied. And those looking to play Call of Duty, Bayonetta 2, all of EA's massive library and Nintendo's 1st party games will be covered. As long as Nintendo maintains third party support th...

Great article.
Sony already filed for a patent for that exact thing.

It also helps that Netflix streams in 1080p on the PS3. Unless it's been updated, the last time I checked, the 360 streams in 720p.
NintendoLife is a UK run website (meaning everyone who runs the website lives in the UK), so I think they know what they're talking about.
Oops sorry. I must have misread it. Anyway, you've got me more excited for this game then I already was. Thanks!
This is one of the few reviews where the different types of yoshi were included and explained. Great Review!
However, I take issue with one aspect of this review. The part were it says "There’s no button or feature you’ll have to switch if someone wants to watch TV in your room and you’re still busy traversing..." I've not heard this explained this way. Even though I don't have the game, it was explicitly shown in the commercials that one could play the game wh...
You know you have no life when you hate Nintendo, yet frequent Nintendo articles just to talk trash.
People will believe what they want regardless of the facts. A couple of developers say Wii U is old, slow tech and that's all a person who wants it to be true needs.
Even if a more prestigious developers says different, like, "Wii U Aliens: Colonial Marine is best looking version because of consoles more modern tech" <--- direct quote from Borderlands 2 developer 2K. Or when a developer of a game like Trine 2 says, "PS3, 360 can't cope with Trine 2 W...
I like the way you think.
Can't wait to get my hands on this.
Then by your definition the PC is the only next gen experience available. Since consoles and PC's are more similar than ever. Take any piece of software at any given time on a console, be it Call of Duty 2, Rage, Crysis 2, Call of Duty 4, Fallout 3 or Skyrim, and the PC offers a technologically superior experience than the console iteration. So, if you live by your definition then you must be a PC gamer correct?
