No Direct for Japan announced yet.. so dont get excited at all yet, if they announce the direct in Japan today then I will believe we might see something new.

Cinematic 5 hour experiences. The new donkey kong is super 3d but al you do is hold run and sometimes hit a button prompt.

I have a feeling the NX will not be power pc and I cannot see Nintendo putting a wii u inside the NX. So no BC.
I have a pretty high level of confidence that Nintendo will release on wii u. It is about selling the game and making the money back. I am not viewing the new Zelda game as a system seller for Nx. I am viewing the wii u as a safe install base that has supported the big Nintendo games.
NX needs a lot more than a system seller.
Mariokart is nintendo`s top selling system seller and it arrived fairly quickly to wii u.

There is a thing called atmosphere that cannot be faked... but keep imagining.. Most great events people go to have stories of how they got there, who they saw, the feeling of being part of a crowd experience a one off performance..None of that will ever be in VR. But i am sure marketing guys will sell you like it is. Why? Really, honestly, why? For what reason would they do that?
To sell the console to the same 4 million people who would buy the game happily on the wii u, but instead force them to buy it on a new console?

Make new games for NX dont port great wii u games to an unknown quantity to appease people who dont have any interest in Nintendo games.
The NX wont drop anytime soon and Nintendo has bills to pay. Killing a console is how you lose millions of dollars. SOny got it right by not killing the ps3 and not designing for Backward compatibility. It meant that the ps3 was still strong while the ps4 was coming out.
I know a lot of people love metroid prime... But the games were not that successful compared to their budgets. They are not at all popular in Japan and so they get little attention.
I have to add. Kensuke Tanabe actually said, " No one at nintendo wants to pay for a Metroid prime game, so no, it wont be coming to wii u. If it comes it will be on the NX." That is what he said.
Rachet and clank is a cheap ass looking game. Bloom everywhere hidding bad physics and a terrible frame rate.
PS4 fanboys have no taste. What is with the pausing weapon select.. this game is going to get slaughtered.
