My pc cost $2000 and it only supports 4K on some games. If you think consoles are going to support 4K next gen your nuts. This gen games are not 1080p on both ps4 and xbox 1.
Would love to know how many devs are really going to make games that can only be played with a gadget that not every one will own.
Only nintendo have been able to make a gadget that developers attempt to use and then it was for a console that sold 100 million units each of which shipped with the gadget. Still, developers stopped making motion games after 2 -3 years.

This is all thanks to the retailers. The console manufacturers and the software publishers have to make the retailers happy. If the retailer is being undercut digitally they will demand the physical price also drops.
The physical digital debate is interesting.
I do like physical copies of games, not because I want to be able to resell them at a later dater, but that was a factor at one point, the reason I like physical copies because of the box art and design.
Selling a bad game is also a pretty big factor. I would never sell a game I loved, even if I never played it again.
If a game has been in my collection for a decent amount of time without being played I will probably sell ...
It is creepy and a sad story.
These games are about depression and ghosts that feel that their lives are incomplete. TO get the good ending of this game is a pretty hard challenge and stressed me out a lot.
I found it pretty scary.. then again I live on a Mountain in Japan that is littered with temples.
Have fun with 1fps on the menu screen, which is all they have achieved.
I doubt they will get this to work anytime soon.
At this point, you would be much better buying a pc or waiting to see what the NX is.. Gen 8 is already dying.
I dont think the tapes were meant to be anything like cut scenes. The tapes are the way they are to give the player the sense of detachment that the game is trying to achieve. Because spoilers the player is a nobody a used person to be a fall guy by the real Boss. We have no idea if the person talking is our character or the real boss. It was very intentional. Didnt you find it strange that the boss talks a lot on the tapes but barely speaks in cut scenes?

It has some good jump scares. And it is pretty scary if you are in a dark room with headphones on.
This was already answered. Kojima could not balance the game to make the battle gear work for players. The same issue would apply for the guard dogs. How do you balance a creature that can smell you? The player would have no chance if the enemy ai had the same skill as Ddog.
This content was probably cut because it made the game bad. not because of time or money.

Reading people who proably have not palyd mgsV talk about repetive is just stupid. The problems with MGSV are that it is over reaching and they repeated missions in part2 that were not needed to be repeated,however, it is a very well made game and people who say otherwise are idiots. If anyone is to blame for the rift between Konami and Kojima it is the console makers... one that used MGS as a sales point and made a special edition in Japan that are partly to blame.
Distribution in America seems to be really expensive.
It has never been discounted in Japan. Even the wii games are still $70. Nintendo knows this kind of game is not something you buy while looking for a bargain it has a very specific law and its fans know what to expect. Casuals would be shocked with the gameplay and the stories.

Played it all, got every ending. All this game lacked was a few boss fights and a bit of editing. It was a great game. Nothing bad about the game. People need to get over it.

Did the game have terrible game play? Nope.
Does the optional online content actually interfere with the single player? Nope.
