Just wait for more Nintendo games to come out. We'll see if they just gerrymandered a copy of the iPad. I have a sense that Apple will do what it can to mitigate Nintendo's success. Sure they will both do just fine on their own. But I find that they each appeal to their own crowd.
For those who want to pretend that "Move" wasn't a response to the Wii remote, I would point to the fact that Sony didn't release Move until well after Wii came out. Hones...
Yeah sure, the launch is always going to be good. Nintendo claims they have something up their sleeve when summer rolls around and sales begin to taper off. I'm not entirely convinced that a large portion of 1st party software is being held back to drum up more enthusiasm for the system. Although I have noticed that advertising has been dismal in support for WiiU, they may be waiting to come out in full force. Again, I can't emphasize 3rd party support enough. Launch games must show s...
Game Over
Come on folks! PLAYSTATION 4 "INQUIRES"?
Isn't it "query"? or at least "inquiries"?
GOD and I haven't read any of it yet!!
What's funny is that you wouldn't really be here if you weren't all "fanboys". Just own it.
Has Sony done a good job of convincing consumers why they can't go on in the gaming world without a Vita? Probably not.
There's reason to be concerned in this business. The gaming industry as a whole is in trouble no matter where you look. "Downloads", "casuals", "Apple", "smart phones", there are many reasons. They ...
I meant that I felt like Ocarina of Time was still lacking in some ways. It was extremely similar to A Link to the Past. Navi kind of ruined it in a lot of ways. I could keep harping about the little things I didn't like about it, but it was only because I had impossible expectations. Then Skyward Sword just had everything you'd expect and more. I really had no complaints with it. I actually haven't finished it yet because I don't want it to end. I really think this is the cro...
AHHhh... why such controversy? I think Nintendo knows what they're doing by now. It's always been more about gameplay anyway.
Zelda II is my favorite Zelda, because that's the one I liked. I had no idea that it's the oddball out of the series until recently.
Skyward Sword was the game I wanted when Ocarina came out, but that's just me.
Honestly, I'm ready for the 720. I play xbox, but I've never personally owned one. I think the time is right.
I just hope they can make some reliable hardware this time around.
They haven't even started marketing the system yet.
Square will be supporting the console this time around so, maybe you'll change your mind.
You said the same thing about Ps3, 360.
Maybe they can make some of their own games, or turn a profit for that matter.
Afraid? damn right you are
Why do you care about what Nintendo does if you're not going to inform yourself? You don't even have the system to be able to voice a legitimate opinion. "Can't play blu-rays?" I'm not buying a system to do something other than gaming, duh. I suppose you'd have to come up with some extravagant hardware if you don't know how to create games.
whammy!
I think it has more to do with the fact that Nintendo's software is more reliable to console owners. They know what they're getting. 3rd party devs are also notorious for not marketing their games.
I don't know. I really have grown fond of the Motion-Plus use of the sword. I really can't see myself enjoying going back to buttons in this regard. Of course, it is Nintendo we're talking about here. They never seem to fail at surprising us with what they come up with next.
Skyward Sword was the Zelda game I wanted when Ocarina came out. I mean speaking of environment, story, and boss battles, but that's just me.
That won't stop the haters from having the case of "WiiUselessness". Their seems to be a contempt for Nintendo that ascends the gaming world. Perhaps it now possesses the reputation of being a "child's system". I don't think it matters what Nintendo does, or third party devs for that matter. The industry just wouldn't be what it is today if they had bowed out after the GameCube.
We wouldn't have the 'Move' or the 'Kinect'.
Yeah, we get it, PC is better with graphics... to imply that pressing a button is better than pulling a trigger to fire a gun is frankly not quite the gameplay we're looking for anyway. Too bad you can't have a buddy come over and play with you. This simply "overrules" your penchant for your version.
whammy!
I call bullsh*t!!
The only aspect that makes the other versions any better in any way is the community.
Quite frankly, I'm not paying for an Xbox live account to play an inferior game on a console I can play against a friend without split screen. BOOM!
Look out!! It's a tsunami of butt-hurt!! Aaahhh!!!
I would say the Gamecube was a pretty hard fall, especially compared to SNES.
Don't get me wrong, I loved GC, but it was a dud in terms of sales and market share. Third party sales on their systems were pathetic, still are.
Yeah, nobody really cares.
Nintendo Power was OK sometimes I guess. I'm not going to miss it. I have everything I need online so... that takes care of that.
After the RROD fiasco, how can you not wait for this thing?
I've pretty much already made up my mind that I'm getting one, but like any new device, the first shipments always have problems, even Apple.
I'm really psyched to see what they come up with.
