n4g's still getting in on the hype wagon.
As long as it doesn't hurt "some" people's eyes, it should do fine.
If Marty McFly Jr. can have one in 2015, why can't I have one this year?!?
I'm tired of speculating.
Yeah, they already made that trilogy... it's called Dead Space.
Most of that franchise was good, but I felt greater potential for the series.
I'd like to see Samus go third person. The gamepad with Metroid is a no-brainer.
No need for mature, Metroid has always been about action and suspense.
Actually Nintendo claimed MP3 to be "THE GREATEST FIRST PERSON EXPERIENCE EVER!!!" And no-one really took it seriously.
In terms of an individual offline experience, I partly agree. On a purely action oriented perspective, gameplay and control is still advanced. The visuals closely resemble a game on 360.
That game is going down as one of the most brutally underrated game of the last generation.
Why ruin a franchise by emphasizing blood a...
I don't care much for the "AAA" games that are in right now.
They're pretty, but they're not much of anything new.
... it puts the lotion on it's skin, and it does whatever its told...
Well, well...
... I'll take Indies over third party every time.
Indies are a reliable testament as to why graphics should be irrelevant.
This is where the future is headed. This is one of the many reasons why I can't stay away from Nintendo.
Keep the indies rolling in.
At least they still don't require a subscription.
yeah, Im pretty sure the Wii usb ethernet add-on still works for WiiU. It's like 10 bucks... ~sigh~
The competition is actually lagging behind.
Try again
Whether its Sony or not, why would somebody buy a product meant for Sony hardware if Sony isn't going to invest in it?
Is this for offscreen purposes only?
I just said I was skeptical.
Call me a fanboy all you want. I love the pseye and the move, and Sony isn't serious about either of them. Why should we take this seriously?
I watch movies if I want to see killing.
But it will always be fun to do it in games, but that's incidental.
I want depth and complexity, even if mindless violence is what sells.
ditto
Because people are gonna eat Halo up.
Way too early to tell. Wait till that price drop comes.
oh, yes please...
... so little information.
Sony does like to overhype, not to mention their financial disposition.
It's difficult to be optimistic. They have the PsEye and move...
How about you support those first?
Just saying, I'd like a commitment to something.
DS2 for sure.
I haven't played it yet.
A series that people care about?
This isn't Pikmin or 3d world.
There are millions of people still playing MK on Wii. You really think MK8 isn't going to move hardware? It'll be one of the biggest games of the year.
Would've been nice to see my inventory on a smaller screen...
It was definitely a disaster sales wise. It will sell more than GameCube and will probably still make them money.
It's still a win in my book, whether it turns around or not. I'm worried about the industry in general.
Pretty cool.
It doesn't beat 5 minute Mario Bros.
But I thought Sony optimised technology and made it better?
You should see the projection monitor MS was experimenting with. It was quite original. I still want to see more Kinect and PSmove/eye types of initiatives. I wish Sony would've kept the eye included with the console.
At least MS are sticking to their guns.
This would be a double-edged sword when you consider piracy.
This is detrimental from a business standpoint, especially when half of all gamers are on PC.
That being said... that's pretty rad.
