The absence of a Nintendo press conference which is really just over-hyped showmanship, doesn't mean they weren't there. I'm not sure Nintendo needs lectured on their business practices. Sony and Microsoft have their own problems that no E3 will ever solve.
Nintendo is due to reveal a new hand-held console, which has been pretty good cake so far. So your condescension seems to bleed irony.
Yeah, not even the NES can handle NES games...
I'm guessing we'll see a lot of games we already know about.
It's what has yet to be revealed that makes me excited....
Besides the usual CoD and AC... and you "know" they're going to be there.
I'm pretty sure E3 isn't going to get the masses to buy more WiiU's.
MarioKart will do better than any press conference. If there isn't momentum leading into the holidays after E3, then I'll be worried.
WiiU sales 'will' go up, just how much is the question. I think Nintendo will close the sales gap by the end of the year.
Except WiiU has Wii's entire catalog. So it's not that dumb.
And Nintendo is gravitating more towards Indie games, which is quickly becoming the future of gaming. And WiiU supports Indie games better than any other, least from my point of view.
Yay... more lame app games..
Regular TV video games just aren't going to thrive like they once had. Consider the golden era of gaming over, unless you have a PC.
This world just isn't big enough for the three of us....
Maybe this is one of the reasons why WiiU sales went up slightly
You need an ace in the hole.
WiiU sales are going to keep going up as more people know what it has to offer.
Sales don't reflect quality.
I pity anyone who doesn't enjoy WiiU. And I pity Nintendo for the public relations disaster it put itself in.
I actually think the bad reputation that constantly foments on Nintendo makes people look into what the system offers.
It's BY FAR Nintendo's greatest console experience EVER.
I'm plaing Resident Evil (remake) which is still one of the best games out. Soon to finally get Metroid Prime Trilogy, while playing megaman and remix. The library is still mountains above next gen. Sales don't reflect quality in any way. MarioKart might move 3-4 million...
WiiU is gaining momentum. I'm certainly glad Nintendo is in last place on the home front, we need to make all companies successful. I'm not worried about Nintendo in the slightest.
Sony and MS are the ones that need to thrive.
I can't imagine a world without any of it, so we should direct our disdain at mobile/app gaming, as those are the real culprit destroying home console gaming, at least for all three to co-exist adaquately.
Monolith's X is all I really want to play. Everything else is secondary.
Why would Sony's Vita compatability, or MS smartglass be exempt? Isn't it the same technology?
Every major multi-billion dollar company faces these types of lawsuits.
Good direct.
Absolutely worth the wait.
That's why you're given an "option".
I think they feel insulted for liking items and different stages and being called "for fun".
Get over it. Nobody cares about your whiney petition. Even if you got a million signatures, it's the way it is.
I always thought they randomly picked the player's item choices.
Both modes will still be competitive. Why a petition?
I actually liked Other M, it was a different take on the series that holds up well for me. It wasn't as great, but it had its shining moments.
I'd rather see another side-scroller, even while my gamepad screams innovation for Metroid.
I'm guessing almost twice as much.
Hyrule temple has always been my favorite. It's nice to have some space.
I loved Zelda 2, but that's just a coincidence.
I'm sure I can create some of my own masterpieces soon enough.
Of COURSE!!
A pill that helps you through gaming withdrawal...
an anti-infan-a-boy... ... ee...
Brought to you by more than one console.
Use as directed.
I thought the Smash direct was better than any e3 presentation they've ever had. I don't care about a live press release. I'd rather them keep doing what they're doing because e3 just seems like over-hyped showmanship. Maybe it just seems too commercial for me anymore.
It's the software content that matters. I see what the "hardcore" are playing, and most of it is old news made prettier. I'm not impressed.
Nintendo was at e...
