There are millions of people still playing MK on Wii. You really think MK8 isn't going to move hardware? It'll be one of the biggest games of the year.
Would've been nice to see my inventory on a smaller screen...
It was definitely a disaster sales wise. It will sell more than GameCube and will probably still make them money.
It's still a win in my book, whether it turns around or not. I'm worried about the industry in general.

You should see the projection monitor MS was experimenting with. It was quite original. I still want to see more Kinect and PSmove/eye types of initiatives. I wish Sony would've kept the eye included with the console.

This has been long overdue.
Just because virtual boy didn't do well doesn't mean we can't get a freakin' visor that doesn't hurt your eyes. I commend Sony for beating them to the punch. I'm hoping MS can really convince me to get the XB1, unless their handheld is really gonna be a head-... uhh... -worn... which would still be sweet.

This guy doesn't seem like a Metroid fan at all. I wasn't that enthralled with the first MP installation, but the ones after were great in my eyes.
"Rehash" definitely can't be said about the Metroid franchise. There were 2 different games developed on WiiU's predecessor, that is hardly a drought.
I always find it amusing when people use the word "gimmick" and don't use it correctly... A gimmick would be an internet browser, or a bluray/dvd player... something included that doesn't add to the device's primary function. A gamepad, much like motion controls, aren't gimmicks. Maybe you guys just like the word "gimmick", because it sounds insulting.

I mean, Nintendo did bring Xenoblade and The Last Story to the states after they said that they wouldn't. Fans are asking for more Japanese games, and they are delivering on those requests.
I'd say they are responding adaquately.
Sure it's down, but still not out. MarioKart is 9 weeks away. This game is an ace in the hole. There's plenty of people without a WiiU this year, who can not resist Nintendo's biggest franchise. Let alone Nintendo fans that still haven't bought a WiiU.
I'm quite sure WiiU will see it's best holiday yet again this year.

ZeldaU almost showed at e3 last year, from what I hear. I'm sure it won't be ready until well after 2014.

If you don't like Nintendo games, it's more about reputation and politics than it is about games. WiiU is a gem if I ever had one. I would not be happy to have paid retail for the Ps4 as it is now. It's almost $600 w/game/ps+

It is funny that Sony fans aren't talking about what they're playing, because there isn't anything to play. I would trade in KillZone if I would get more than 15 dollars for it.
All this Titanfall bashing just makes me want to play it even more, considering the source.
