See, I don't agree with you. I use both the PSN and XBL and when it comes to the speed of online games, I can't tell a difference. I mean, it's bad enough that next-gen games cost us an extra $10 and that we have to pay a good amount of $ each month for hi-speed internet (I pay $50), but on top of that, MS wants to charge us more just to play a game that we've already spent a fortune on? Excellent news! I was really close to downloading it on XBL but didn't (not a HUGE fan of my 360, but Braid is amazing!! Really ingenious puzzles). Yey for PSN!!
This is for all game developers: How hard is it for you to give a beta tester your finished product so they can check for these nasty bugs? I mean, you spend all this time and money into a game, one would figure that there can be some extensive afterthought so that your game would come out polished and all. It's too bad they have to succumb into deadlines and hype. A great game will sell with great reviews and positive word of mouth.

I use to despise GameStop not for it's "illegal" manuvers, but for its retchid customer service. Things have changed. The manager that took over the location is an authentic gamer that actually knows what he's talking about and is a genuinly nice guy. Bravo to both systems! I personally bought it for the PS3 only because I love the fight scheme on the PS controller, but it wasn't too big a deal. I think the winners here are PS3 and Xbox 360 owners...Wii owners...well...you have Soul Calibur Legends...muahahahaha!!!!
I'm going to have to agree with you, Chuck. They had a small preview on the Resident Evil: Extinction movie and I was excited...but these seem like cut scenes from a PS/PS2 game.
Animators: Gameplay graphics are nearing your CG animation; kick it up a notch! I mean, look at Wall-E...THAT'S top notch CG. If you really wanted to get our blood pumping, you would have added more textures to the environment and atmostphere...even the villain looks like a cheap plastic figurine....

Ha! Same thing was said since the videogame crash of the 80's...now look at them! Even in this recession we're going through, videogames still continue to excell in the entertainment industry. As long as there are males with a competivie spirit and a small amount of childhood nostalgia, I seriously doubt the videogame industry is in any kind of peril.

I HATE Walmart but i don't hate their bluray dvd's prices. in store, the movies are much more expensive, but if you order it online, they'll ship it to the store for free so you get the online price. that's like a savings of $10 each blu ray...not bad.

Wow after almost 10 years, Soul Calibur still looks amazing!! I remember 9.9.99, when the Dreamcast came out, this was hands down one of the best launch games EVER!
