I don't know about it being "watered down". I still got pretty damn dizzy by the speeds and it does give an Epileptic Seizure warning before the game starts.
It's so damn beautiul, fast and addicting! I keep getting the "one more race" syndrome where I fool myself into thinking that the last race is really the last when in reality my brain's calling me a "sucker" for believing it...I was late for work b/c I went to sleep at 3 in the morning and had to be at work 4 hours later...got yelled at by my boss and now I can't wait to go home and play it some more...see why I hate this game??
worth every cent! I downloaded the Pure demo a couple of weeks ago and I love that adrenaline rush that it gave. I was thinking of buying it this weekend but I heard Wipeout came out and me being a fan of that game for about 10 years (since the original PSOne), I thought why not? For $20, sounds pretty good. That same adrenaline rush that I got from Pure was delivered in Wipeout. The controls, graphics and speed are reminiscent of prior Wipeout titles and this one delivers the goods of g...
yeah great spec and all, but tell me, what system is still going strong out of those 3? The PS2 is the best selling video game system of all time and for good reason. It was well made and future-proof. My PS2 collection is vast and I recently (finally!) bought God of War 2 (which looks great on my PS3 upgraded to 1080p). Long story short, it's not about the brawn rather then the brain and Sony's put plenty of brain in it's products.
I have both systems and I can pretty much say that the 360 gathers dust while my PS3 is used every day.
Actually, the only real reason I bought a 360 was for Bioshock last year. Since then, I've bought Gears of War, Halo 3 and Dead Rising. They were good (if not great) games but I couldn't find myself comfortable with that flying saucer-like controller. Also, I couldn't justify an extra $50 a year for online pay when I'm already paying a hefty $60 per game AND a hi-speed i...
I be you Microsoft is sh!tting their pants over their strict user-unfriendly upload options...hence why LBG will never come to the Xbox.
maybe they should lower the prices of blu-ray, I mean, $30 on sale for a new blu ray disc? Insane. The same movie would be on sale on DVD for $15. I love me some hi-def but I also love me an extra $15 in my pocket. I went to Target today and they had some Temporary price reductions, which was nice, but we need permanent price reductions.
wow how much weiner did Soulja Boy feed you?
Interviewer: "So, Soulja Boy, what would you say the American public's perception of you to be? Intellectually superior or stupid as hell?"
to which Soulja Boy responded...
yes yes, and YES!
I'm more excited about Infinit Ward returning than COD:5 coming out in Nov...I'm tired of WW2.
God this story was stupid. WTF is so spectacular about buying a game system from someone? I'd say I have a better story: When the Wii came out.
The first day the Wii came out, I drove around different places at 4:00 in the morning to see if some place were forming lines and such...after driving to many places and losing hope I'd get myself a Wii in its inception, I figured I'd wait at a Wal-Mart (shutters) line. I was behind a guy and his son and he smuggly turned around ...
Holy crap this looks amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
You mean the job of parents actually entails keeping an eye on them and their habits?? Absurd! Preposterous! Isn't that why parents buy games for their kids? A cheap, $60 babysitter?
the early 90's called...they want their "Not" back...thanks...oh, they also said if you say "Not" again, they will send a trained assassin into our time to annihilate you. That is all.
GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
amen!
Hell yes it was overhyped. Not as much as Halo 3, but still, overhyped. I'm sorry but if it didn't have the name Grand Theft Auto in the front, I would have assumed it was a cheap, GTA knock off only with ugly graphics, tedious missions and frustrating controls. Honestly? I wished they would re-make Vice City with online multiplayer; I'd be a happy boy.
Not since Tetris has my brain felt like it's going to explode due to a game's invetiveness. I loved every aspect of Little Big Planet (sadly the beta ended this Sunday). The unbelievable amount of creativity that went into the game and that the game will produce is sheer grandure. I thought to myself: What am I going to build today? A Theme Park? An Jungle Safari? A Mc Donalds???? I can't WAIT for 10.21 when the full game comes out. From the opening movie (which gives you an automati...
