Ratchet and Clank is cool...but come on...we all know who's going to dominate. MODERN WARFARE 2!!!! Yeah I love my Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5, but they don't come close to the excitement that I have for MW2. If it's one inch as good as the first one, I think I'm going to be in gamer heaven. I still play the first one every night and that says a lot considering I've purchased lots of games in between COD4 and now. Thanks Infinity Ward for giving us quite possibly one of the greatest g...
yeah i bubbled you just because :)
Cool I just got mine 20 minutes ago! Try 1up guys, I hear they're doing one too that's a bit more fun...you'll see what I mean.
you should get hand reduction surgery ;)
I'm soooooo not a 360 hater...I have a 360 and I love it...but I can honestly say I love the PS3 controller better.
Thing is, the 360 controller is a little too big and too clunky for my tastes. The triggers are a little harder than the PS3's controller and that really makes a difference especially when it comes to FPS's. I've been playing (and LOVING) Left4Dead. When I'm done with that, I go online and play COD with my buddies on the PS3. Instantly, you can feel the comfor...
Gimme a break! Like Best Buy's any better? Quite frankly I wasn't fond of either of them and thhe only reason I still go into Best Buy is to price match and get my Reward Zone points, but I'm a very smart shopper and know that Best Buy is one of the most expensive retailers out there.
This, I think, is a genius tactic. What name are most consumers aware of? tigerdirect or Circuit City? CC of course! can you imagine how much money they can save by advertising online (and...
Well it depends on your depiction of art. Let's take a Monet for example. The subtle brush strokes and his usage of color palettes leaves one with a sense of bewilderment and awe. Well, when I play, Shadow of the Collosus, I get that same feeling, so who's to say it can't be considered art, or artistic. Even then, let's take a game like Killzone 2 (this is just an example and in no way a preference of a particular system). One person might percieve it in a certain manner than another and...
I was JUST about to put the same thing. Soul Calibur was an amazing launch title that easily trumps Battle Arena Toshinden (btw, I think Ridge Racer was a better launch title for the PSOne). Back to the subject, to this day, Soul Calibur really set the bar for fighting games. I mean, go on YouTube and look at gameplay vids...did you see them? funny how a game that's TEN YEARS OLD looks so great still right? EGM (RIP) said it best: Try to find a flaw. Go on, try it." I played that ...
You know, I really REALLY hate articles like this. Instead of focusing on what we care about...GAMES!!!...they continue to give us drivel like this. these morons forget that the PS3 and the 360 have incredible games yet they continue to make this a co*k contest. It's stupid and tiring.
Got my attention!! Man i'm craving a milkshake right now.
Shhhhhhhhhhh...that's my COD secret man!! Fellas...having an awesome 5.1-7.1 surround sound system is incredible. I bought a cheap, Sony hi-def receiver from Circuit City (R.I.P.), and it really does make a difference gameplaywise. I mean, I can literally slouch in a corner and hear the enemie's footsteps from afar coming closer and closer until POP! So yeah...really does make a difference.
I really think there was a mistranslation in the statement where it says that it would max out the PS3's power. The PS3 is a much more powerful machine than the 360 and the fact that an identical game would come out for both systems contradicts that statement greatly. Now i'm not a fanboy...as a matter of fact, I've really been loving my 360 more, but I'm just trying to set things straight.
Ha! I bought my copy of FF7 on eBay for $30...now if you'll excuse me, I"m going to play it on my 60gb PS3 :)
thank god someone put this up!! I can sleep in peace.
See I'm a bit mixed about this. I love the GOW series but I was a bit grossed out by the newest trailer. I mean, it's always been a pretty violent series, but we have to remeber that graphics are getting more and more realistic and it stops being funny seeing crazy animation and starts being revolting seeing realistic brutal deaths. Now, I'm not a prude by any means. I love the realistic blood from the COD series and think that that it goes well with the story and situation, but remember ...
I admit I'm a big fan of downloading music and CD's are becoming obsolete...but the fact of the matter is, downloading HD movies is a pain, takes huge amounts of space when I can get up, grab a Blu Ray, pop it in, scratch my butt, go sit back down. Voila! Ultra fast downloading is still a good while away and even then, there will still be die hards who enjoy the satisfaction of simply popping in their preferred movie format and instant play.
Oh, btw, have you listened to th...
ya know, your statement is not wrong!! I need to invest in a VHS (what, $5 at a thrift store?) because of the fact that I love watching cheesy horror movies on VHS. There's a videostore around the corner that's selling VHS movies for $1 and they're really great classics that seriously need to be seen on VHS...the lovely humming of the tape rolling...the occasional lines across the screen...brings back memories, man.
lol...this article brings on the chuckles. I bought The Shining on Blu Ray ($12) and even a movie that's older looks absolutely incredible. Don't get me wrong, my DVD library greatly outnumbers my Blu Ray collection, but eventually, Blu Rays will go down in price and it will dominate. The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Pixar movies...check them out in Blu Ray and tell me if you still think DVD is better.
lol...bubble for an awesome game reference and your MST3K Icon ;)
Those things don't really interest me, to be honest. I'm pretty happy with my Xbox Live Gold account and the connection there is pretty damn good already. I think I'll pass.
