Uncharted is an older franchise and they always vastly improve animations with each new release. Just look at the differences implemented between Uncharted 2 and 3 - and that was last gen.
Last thing one should do is doubt Naughty Dog's capabilities regarding animations.

Well said. This is on top of the fact that the market is speaking. Sony continues to win month after month, year after year, in system sales. If it were that big of a deal, people would start buying their competitors' machines at faster rates.
