Finally we fully agree on something!
😛
Nope, it isn’t.
About changing minds, couldn’t care less. My point has already been made and without a solid rebuttal.
That works for me.
You are not a PlayStation user, so why are you worried what Sony does? They just had a profitable quarter, have the highest rated exclusive, put out more games than their main competition, and are selling on par with what PlayStation sells.
You should be worried about your favorite company, as their hardware is in SERIOUS trouble and it doesn't look good. But, I'm not holding my breath.
“Laid off workers are irrelevant”.
Good, glad you finally agree. Time and a place for that. Exactly. Just like your preference.
We can “maximize” talking about who lost jobs in a topic about it.
In the context of this discussion, yes, your preference is irrelevant. I didn’t mention anything about a favorite when referencing Microsoft. I said if you’re talking consistency, complain the next time they lay people off because no one has laid off more workers in recent months. That you felt the need to point out your preference in conjunction with that is entirely on you.
Considering none of this has anything to do with the topic at hand, it should be east to agree to d...
No one gave Sony a pass, I'm just not going to gripe about something that I cannot change and, instead, discuss the actual subject matter.
Also, your preference is irrelevant.
If you are looking for consistency, you must also have it. Next time Microsoft releases a financial report, be sure to point out their massive layoff count as well (much more than Sony and they have a FAR bigger market presence).
Otherwise, instead of a pointless pissing contest about who laid off who, be happy that we have a gaming company looking healthy and provide more content to us.
@Vincenzos
You’re right Jr, I didn’t. Because I said nothing about them. So, that corner you’re crying in? Stay there. :)
Oops, should have known it’d be another alt. You really need a life.
You’re arguing with one of Orchard’s alts. Disregard!
Cool. They made money and had a great quarter too.
Layoffs are an unfortunate part of business, but it’s business.
Maybe.
No, they wouldn't have. Y'all would have still moaned and complained.
But Xbox doesn’t 😉
I'll ask it again for them, where did you get that outlandish 34+ million consoles sold number from? Absolutely nothing legitimate backs it up.
As of June: https://www.purexbox.com/ne...
28.3m. They have NOT shifted more than 6 million consoles since then and they just declined by 29% more.
By saying Xbox users don’t buy games?
Provide a source that shows this.
All I have to also do is look at all the other moneyhats companies did throughout the years, Microsoft included, and see that this isn't one company's problem.
No one said Sony was an angel. You just singled them out for things every other company has done and that shows a clear agenda and why you're not in a position to have this discussion realistically.
That depends on the game. WuKong sold 20 million on Steam alone, for example.
So, Microsoft is bribing devs to keep STALKER 2 off PlayStation, right? Tell us more!
@darthv72
Good to see you’ve finally stopped pretending to be neutral and are back to showing what you’re really about!
The simple response to your concern for your favorite company is this - they put themselves in this situation. They’re putting their games on PlayStation because their ecosystem has weakened considerably. You can either blame them or “the gamers” but that’s an objective reality and you may as well get used to it.
