Yeah, you know you’re wasting your time with him!
It's thegamer. Never take them seriously!
Gears: E-Day was not given a 2025 release date. In fact, I’d bet most of that won’t release in 2025.
"trust me, bro"
He’s an alt. Don’t waste your time debating.
"Grow up".
Coming from you? Hilarious.
In any event, there are plenty of opinions that differ from mine. You're just a transparent poster that everyone knows is only in here to stir up trouble. You couldn't care less for PlayStation and there is a documented history of this, so your reasoning for being here is obvious. Don't get mad, get better.
"Nothing impressive". "Looks like they're using th...
Really. You’d be doing your usual Xbox Hula dance if it was exclusive to that platform. EVERYONE knows this about you!
And my pants are on just fine, unlike the tight, green ones you wear.
It doesn’t take a scientist to know how you would be acting if it were an Xbox exclusive.
Someone who gets it!
Yes, it IS about compression. That's how data works, on any medium. Of course the disc won't house the FULL game regardless of the console it's on, but data will still be compressed on it and the larger the disc, the more that can be compressed, reducing the need for multiple.
PS5 Pro is irrelevant.
So, to the rest of the post... if he is buying the game on Xbox, and Microsoft made a claim to discs and/or disc space, and he feels it was untrue based on what's happening here, then I don't see the issue.
Um, data is compressed to fit on storage medium. That's.....always how it's worked. No, I'm not talking about Kraken. Audio files, as an example, are compressed to fit more of it (data) on a medium.
PS5 is in a better position for this IF they can (and want to) compress said data further (this is how the 360 vs PS3 worked for multiplats and one of the things Sony was praised for during that era). The system still works with the disc to compress the data as it is...
Refute his point instead of pivoting to Sony.
What did he say in regard to physical media and Microsoft that was wrong?
PS5 is better at compression than the Xbox, so it shouldn’t ship that.
Only the Forbidden West DLC was a cause of two discs and even that was just 121GB total.
Yeah, those Orchard alts have been working double time since the holiday period started.
Yeah, thanks to PlayStation. Good look at Black Ops 6’s numbers as an example! 😉
It is quite dramatic, yes.
So far, the cutscenes look entertaining anyway! If done properly, it should be great!
@Julion0715
Uh, huh?
Um, the price is 50% off. The bigger story would be if it WASN'T doing anything.
And will would get laughed at AGAIN if he tried.
