Your internal struggle is obvious.

“LOL” because PlayStation gamers ACTUALLY BUY games? This isn’t the chest beat you think it is. If Xbox users bought more games, Sea of Thieves wouldn’t be on anything but it and PC. Microsoft leaned on the platform that generates more money. It’s called business.

Exactly.

@ThinkThink

They can expand and still retain the importance of exclusives (which is exactly what they’ve expressed and what they’re doing). Any random predictions stating otherwise are wishful thinking or totally clueless.

Sony very much cares about exclusives hence why they still release them. They also care A LOT about console sales and exclusives are critical towards that.

Their situation isn't Xbox's.

Sony releases good games. Xbox needs to learn from that.

637d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

Indeed. We hear this “underutilized” talk as if every old franchise should have a comeback or reboot.

Yeah, waste of time arguing with them. Always that one alt to ruin the fun. :P

Anyway, graphics can still blow us away, but I'm not blown away by Hellblade either as I play. While the game does have industry-leading moments, it's not a complete shutout. Look at textures up close, for example. Or the water.

Cyberpunk is indeed a more enjoyable game, yes! I was one of the early PC adopters who had very few bugs and enjoyed much of what I played.

That said, I also enjoyed Starfield. A little slow out of the gate, but looked pretty good and had enough to warrant coming back to it!

Selling more? They just had one of the biggest periods for a console EVER (20.8m). That’s not exactly something for them to scoff at. They’d just break more records by selling more, but it’s not a necessity.

Their balance of selling what they’re selling while making plenty of money is how you successfully run a console business.

664d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

That’s what happens when people desire a console vs not.

Exactly.

Has nothing to do with Sony. Stay on topic.

666d ago 19 agree4 disagreeView comment

PlayStation isn’t struggling. Xbox is. That’s the difference.

Sony also didn’t buy out multiple publishers with LOTS of studios and leave them in a state of uncertainty.

So, he’s absolutely right that Sony not following Game Pass in its entirety was smart as this very thing could have happened. Name a team, like Tango, who wasn’t struggling (like Tango) that Sony closed. Every closure was because of a studio who wasn’t pulling their weight.

No, Xbox crash. Nintendo and Sony are fine.

Deflection is the finest form of delusion.

Also gamers: “buying Activision is good for gamers”.

Just stop. Nothing about this is good.

672d ago 37 agree3 disagreeView comment

That has far less to do with it. Cyberpunk takes a monster and has done well commercially.

The issue is who they locked out. No Steam release and no physical version currently has its fate sealed. Fixing those tow things is sure to turn some tides.

680d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

Exactly. They love their SonyToo instead of looking at everything in its totality. You spend $80B to buy up so many pubs/devs, you damn well should have something to show for it.

That said, this article is old and someone is clearly looking for clicks!

I do. I STILL have games (Gears of War being the big one) I cannot access because Games for Windows LIVE is total garbage and no one has held Microsoft accountable.
