All Team Ico games are unique and you owe it to yourself to play each game. This one won't reach legendary status like the Shadow of the Colossus, but it's still a completely worth while experience. Just don't let the bad controls deter your time.
The way that was scripted, there's no way that was purely gameplay. I smell another Killzone 2 controversy.

FF8 is my most replayed game in the series for sure. There's just something about being in that world that is exciting to me. I loved to story and most of the characters. Yeah, the "memory" story point was a bit much, but the ongoing war of the sorceresses in your time period, and Laguna's was great.
Game informer mentioned there were some issues with it in their plaudits with the developer. Bad input lag, frustrating overlord fights, general confusion while playing. Every video they've released of the game actually being demoed has failed to live up to the initial reveal "demo".

So I'm still playing through the 3rd,so without spoilers, does it connect together in a satisfying way eventually? I'm having the disjointed storytelling so far.
Only if it's backwards compatible with the first Vita. I have way too many games (mostly downloads), and I won't have multiple Sony handhelds.

I really want to, but $50 just seems absurd to me!
Great game - only a few problems that frustrate. The checkpoint system got me in trouble a few times and was hard to beat a level without restarting. But dual wielding auto shotguns in a narrow corridor full of Nazi's never gets old.
Now being in the RE2 remake!
Ignore. Seems like it's just the digital codes being "discounted" to the regular price of a disc game.
That doesn't sound enjoyable.
What I'd really like to know is why the rest of the industry is zigging while Sony zags.
It won't even be the best Battlefront game.
