B1663r made this statement: "I sold my ps3 today, I wanted to get out before the used price crashed." - end quote. i said it was a lame thing to say. for ANYONE to think that psn being down a few days would somehow affect the trade-in price of the ps3 is an IDIOT. if psn was NEVER coming back, then i'd side with ps3s dropping in resale value - but that isn't the case.

an update from sony would be nice. that's the only thing that bugged me about this. i think, if it's going to be longer than 2 or 3 days, they ought to be updating us as to what's going on.

i'd give the game an 8.5 too. it's great fun and easy to pick up and play when i have some free time. the later levels where huge hordes come at you are awesome!

this was due to many of these smaller sites renting/ using amazons servers and those servers have been experiencing trouble.
i don't know if psn rents server from amazon.

i love playing online. i'm completely addicted to zombie mode on treyarchs games - and that includes the online team play...it's awesome. however, to act like games/ps3 are worthless if you can't get online is over-dramatic.

as far as i know - psn being down has NOTHING to do with being able to play games and watch movies. yea, i'll miss team play in zombie mode, but it's not like the ps3 is dead. i'm going to be playing DS, UC2, KZ3, and batman:AA.
if i'm sony - i'd say "fu#k the Finnish Consumer Complaints Board". and then i'd yank every ps3 for sale out of finland. that solves the problem and all the finnish gamers who want ps3s can go to this idiots (who filed the suit) house and beat the crap out of him.
seriously - the more craziness i hear coming out of this country just makes me shake my head. it's like the suits in the US for the coffee being too hot.

on a side note - finally one of the big three gets it right........resistance3 in early sept. and UC3 in early november. better to have games like that 2 months apart rather than 1-2 weeks apart. it gives us a chance to enjoy one and then "BAM!"......we get another great game!

60 fps does NOT need to be standard. also, the dualshock design works for me. i don't understand why you're having trouble with the triggers .....i NEVER miss hitting them when i need to. the dualshock fits very nicely in my hands so i don't understand that complaint as well.
and i think BC has to be there....but only as far as playing any game from this gen.
i'm on the fence too - i was planning on buying it after it's been out for about six months - and getting it for half price. if some future gameplay vids look good, i may preorder it too.
if they get back to what made R1 great - R3 is gonna kick butt.
