and "last guardian"......."age nt"......also FFvs13........
ok for those idiots who disagreed that i didn't get the email from sony - here is part of it:
PlayStation(R)Network
============================= ======
Valued PlayStation(R)Network/Qriocity Customer:
We have discovered that between April 17 and April 19, 2011,
certain PlayStation Network and Qriocity service user account
information was compromised in connection with an illegal and
unau...
i got the email - it's very long and detailed.....received it 2 days ago. it probably takes time to send out 70+ mil of these. - if you want i'll pm you a copy
agreed. and, who in the hell links their bank account with anything? that's so idiotic it can't be true.
yea, great article. it's nice to see someone taking reality into account.
joe - i'm a psn user - how is this a nightmare for me? once psn is back, i'll be using it again. if it's never back - i won't.......will it make me sick? will it cause my practice to fail? will it make hy house disappear and leave me homeless?......a "nightmare"?......re ally joe?.
sure i think this is newsworthy. but the problem in todays world is HOW that news is reported. with the internet - if the facts aren't juicy enough - people add on - much like...
sorry - wrong post.
Gam3s4lif3 - i think it was a couple of years ago, but not positive. someone on another thread posted a story about it.
i don't see these types of things as a big deal. live and psn both provide lots of fun for everyone who uses them........although i like "free" better than paying for anything in life!
ok, alpha - no problem with that.
ok, alpha - i certainly understand what you're saying. however, going by what you just posted - how did MS (and 360) survive the "red ring" situation? brand reliability was compromised and still the 360 has done pretty darn good this gen.
and what "reliability" ? do you speak of? on live, credit card numbers have been taken, kids are approached by pedophiles and gays are discriminated against. also, there have been times the service has been down. remember the christmas it was down for 10 or so days?
you and i never see "eye to eye" - but your comment is just over-exagerated rhetoric.
no stealth here kyl277 - here's the thing - NOTHING is safe ANYWHERE in todays world. ANY of your info is available to any hacker who winds up with it. your bank? your CC company? they both run on computers and software - and hackers can get into that too.
with psn - it's been fine up till now and there is no official word as to if anyone HAS had their info stolen.
what you're doing is over-reacting. if someones car collides with yours - are you going to quit dri...
i'd buy one. and i'll be on psn when it's back up.
only menatally challenged idiots are buying into all this internet gossip.
raven - this has nothing to do with that - what happened was someone committed a criminal act that caused this mess.
stores put items in window boxes even though someone could break the glass and steal. it's not the store owners fault if someone breaks the law and does this - and it's not sonys fault in this case.
edit: Ace_1975 - the info was NOT unencrypted! what nonsense. and there has been no confirmation that ANY info has been taken. all t...
so........you're suggesting any crime that can't be stopped should just be allowed/ignored?
uh - i don't agree with that.
hells, yea!
well - i want it now! so, in that sense the timing is already wrong. LOL
but seriously - unless they release it next to another big game coming out, i can't wait to get my hands on it.
i was surprised too - everytime i went by that damaged door in the nexus, i thought there'd be dlc that would let us explore the world that was behind it.
"stable and reliable"? it's had multiple outages of varying lengths - including one during christmas......it's had verified reports of credit card theft......and no dedicated servers........
i guess if you're happy........
people say a lot of things on the internet -80% isn't true.
