haven't you called sony customer support yet? and when you say you restart and get "nothing"; you mean system doesn't come on? as i said last post....call support. and give their response in a post sometime. i'm curious as to what happened.
but sony is just trying to make sure everybody is getting positive results from the update. i don't see anything bad about that.
they need to get more "price-cut" refurbished systems on the shelf to sell as new consoles.

every person who reads it will have a diff. opinion on what they want to see and how bad they want to see it.
so, i won't rehash everything that's been said. all the games i want to see have been mentioned except for one: wardevil. ever since the last teaser trailer i'm wanting more. hope it shows up with at least a new trailer. now, here's the rest of what i want: pleeeeease ND...where is new JaD? and can we see a NEW level of KZ2? FF13 needs to start giving out some new info. same...

i see what you're saying. looking at the whole is a pretty good story(except for the cheesy ending) but i wish parts 2 and 3 could have held up better individually.
and i liked the way pt. 2 used the arbiters story a lot better than the way MGS2 shifted to raiden.(that was just disappointing)
halo1 was ground-breaking for the reasons you mentioned. good point. i thought halo 1 was an excellent, fresh new game.
halo 2 regenerating health.....i think original KZ used this? and it launched before H2?
and H2 and H3 don't really offer anything new outside of some new multi-player features and maps. that isn't really enough. and with single-player not that great and story lacking; (after halo 1) it left H2 and 3 feeling a little flat.
if you have an opinion or question about something; that's great. even if i don't agree it's still ok. that's what makes these sites interesting. but to throw out a post as a "retaliation"? that's just childish.
that isn't the ultimate cliche? come on. i think story in bioshock, uncharted, ME, ratchet, resistance, MGS, KZ2 all have halo whipped. sorry, just my opinion.
this new story really has me interested. if it plays well; then i may pick this up.......unless uncharted 2 is coming out this year. then i'll wait till this tombraider hits the bargain bin. sorry crystal dynamics, but uncharted is my new #1 adventure series.
all "fake" stories need to be debunked. the approval system on this site needs a lot of work. only way it changes is if this kinda crap is exposed.

fact is, UE3 has been around too long now to be considered "groundbreaking". look at what's being done by insomnicac, naughty dog and GG with their engines and UE is looking a little dated.
