In this day and age, "gone gold" means they are releasing the game, and the gamers get to find all the remaining bugs for a later patch. LOL.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but let's say you buy the X1 digital and get the free PC copy... Does the game run the same as X1 but on your PC, or will the game be as good as your PC?

I'd trade my X1 for a Ps4 now, which was never a consideration before.
Like really? Should I get Quantum Break on my X1 @900p and 30fps? Or on my PC @1440p and 60+ FPS? Hmmmm... Tough choice?

I have a sweet rig too. They arent uber common, but they aren't uncommon either. They are so much more affordable and accessible these days.
That being said, my X1 is practically a waste now. I love it, but I only got it for exclusives. I can now play those on my PC, which is the much better experience for me.

I still don't get what Microsoft's angle is with putting all X1 "exclusives" on PC? That's gotta affect X1 sales.
If I was buying a console today, I'd go Ps4 and PC combo too. other than my X1 friends community I guess...
I personally thought Destiny was pretty close to striking a good balance.
The game was fun as single player, but way more enhanced as multiplayer. The bad part of the balance was that further in to the game it became necessary to play multiplayer, and several missions or game types it was totally necessary, and the "raids" required coordination with 6 friends and several hours of free time to beat...

My conclusion is spot on from a business stand point. Selling 20million consoles in 2 years is a massive success, regardless of your competition. Every year the Xbox division has improved both in sales, and profitability. You think too much like a "gamer", and not enough like an executive.
PS4 is not even close to outselling 3:1.
The X1 is selling better than any the previous generations of Xbox. And is right on track with how the PS3 was selling. That is positive for X1.
I liked the chart comparing X360 to X1 lifetime sales. It's good to see that the X1 sales pattern has greatly improved over the 360's at this same time, and is right on track with the PS3.
All in all, getting beat by PS4, but selling really great.

Keep googling the info. It's true, the publisher is not happy about the keys, but legally, G2A and GMG LEGALLY purchased those keys in bulk and pass the savings on to the gamer. There was a lawsuit, and the CD key websites are winning because it is legal. The publisher just doesn't make as much money so they release statements condemning those websites.
So the publisher is mad because gamers are finding ways to save money (i.e., CD keys buys them in bulk and passe...

seriously, Xbox is none of the ways you describe it. And it's not the poor design that keeps it from always hitting 1080. It's for the same reason your magical PS4 also comes up short on 1080. Mind you, PS4 also struggles to hit even 30fps at 1080. Let's not forget how silly the bar is you set for X1, because PS4 hasn't fared much better. And X1 has plenty of 1080 titles, and 1080/60fps titles. But PS4 doesn't have to hit 1080/6...
To be fair, if it does work, some people will not believe it... Until it arrives on PS4. And it will be on PS4 if ends up being great. And then there will be an argument about how Sony created the tech...
