I prefer this.
by around 300k for the month of February. If that's true then DMC4 for the 360 is well behind the PS3 on a worldwide basis considering how much the PS3 version outsold the 360 in Japan alone.
Why would square-enix only make the FF7 remake on PSN(unless it's just FF7 upscaled to 1080p) if they could release a retail version and make millions upon millions like they usually do. The FF7 remake (and it's eventually going to happen) is way to big to be only put on a download service. We're talking about the same company that remade FF1 and FF2 dozens of times with minor upgrades.
Alan Wake is a second party title and the IP is owned by remedy (just like team ninja and NG2 exclusive for the 360, not 1st party but MS got's publishing rights to it). My money is that it's Banjo Kajooie 3, and the executive out the door is that Kim guy. Alan Wake is still in development and Remedy would be stupid to cancel that project after all the resources they put in.
VGchartz is not working for me....it says week ending in 0ct 27 yet Wii sports is number one and GH3 isn't even on there.
Also, R&C was a limited release title. Gamestop and online stores got it early, vgchartz do not record online sales and every other major retailer got it shipped in today.
You do realize that in the video they are using 6 SPEs to do it right??? and that GT5 uses ray tracing in the pit scenes in real time with only 1 PS3 right???
I'm getting disagrees for telling the truth?? tsk tsk, silly fanboys, they just can't accept it.
Gran Turismo 5 already uses ray tracing technology.

There's no need to post a quote from the ign review as these comparison shots prove the point that there are more jaggies on the 360 version opposed to the PS3 version. The whole point of this comparison was to point out that the ign was wrong in terms of jaggies and textures with side by side proof. Framerate however should be better on the 360, unless proven wrong.
MS supporting HDDVD was only a defensive measure against Sony's bluray. Microsoft clearly has their own agenda and rather put their resouces into Online HD movie distribution instead, bill gates already said this once. If MS really cared for HDDVD they would have dumped tons of dough in the format already, all MS wants to do is prevent Bluray from taking majority of the market share before the online dribution plans start picking up with the consumers.
Sister of Fate - Sisters of fate was not hard at all... cool battle, but rather easy. I knew GOW2 was going to be way too easy for me (after seeing how easy GOW1 was) so i made sure i had it on Hard mode the first time i played it, and the sisters still was very easy.
Guildenstern - Guildenstern wasn't too difficult either, i think those f*&king random arch liches at the undergound optional dungeons were much more difficult (one magic spell and its game over) and they weren...
The U.S already droped the ball when it came to gaming decades ago, we needed a japanese company to bring gaming back and you should be glad they did. Otherwise you wouldn't be playing the level of games you are playing today.
As for cutting off japanese relations.... i would love to see what would happen to Microsofts gaming division if they cut of all their relations with the japanese. Lets see.
No more ninja gaiden
no more resident evil

Skies of arcadia was great, cheezy but good game none the less. However, i wouldn't really call the gamecube version a "remake" it felt and looked alot like a port if anything.
I'd like to say... the PS3 version (from those screenshots) look better...but there's no losers in this topic. 360 owners played the heck out of this game already and the PS3 owners get motion controls with better lighting, everyone is happy. Good job to UBISOFT.
EDIT: i always thought EA and UBISOFT took way too much heat for "bad" ports to the PS3, they've had 3(+) years to work with the Xbox360 and around 1 year with the PS3, give them some time before you call the...
"People buy the consoles for GAMES. The video playback format is secondary if not negligible in their decision of purchase"
I do agree that the recent insane amount of Bluray/HDDVD stats is really getting out of hand, but what i quoted you on is comepletely false. Not everyone buys consoles for games, as a matter of fact the majority of PS2 owners during the first months of launch bought a PS2 b/c it was regarded as a "cheap DVD player" (just like how the PS...
SpiderMan3 and Pirates of the caribean 3 exclusive on Bluray is really going to hurt Toshiba and HDDVD. Both those movies did better than 300 in the box office. Unless HDDVD gets some more exclusive titles, Toshiba is going to have a very rough holiday.
What is with all these "Haze is a Halo ripoff" comments. Halo was not the first FPS to use vehicles, halo was not the first FPS that is based on a scifi setting. Halo never did anything NEW to begin with. It's a good game and by looking at those pictures, it looks like Halo looks better (not by alot, but still better). You fanboys are really dumb.
and chances are since Rockstar has stated they were having a difficult time fitting everything into a single DVD, the game would run better on a BluRay disk.
:O
GOW on DX9 will look as good as or almost as good as Crysis DX9, But nothing is going to touch Crysis running on a DX10 computer, especially if that engine is built for grahpics card a generation ahead of it's competitions'. Crysis is one of the only games i've seen mimic fire the way it's supposed to be and the water effects are very very realistic (espcially when you actually dive in and look around)
Hey, it's what the Japanese are getting, and they always have better stuff than we do.
