Your Nexis 2000 thing drives me nuts
Meanwhile, over on the Social Club Newswire..... :p
OT: the music videos fulfilled my need for GTA whist at work away from it
At this point in time, I say they should shout it from the highest mountian top.
I was at an Xbox One kiosk (again) last night, and the guy had no clue about the resolutions, and really why the game being 720p and 1080p on PS4 was a massive deal.
If Microsoft isn't getting it - then we should make a bigger deal of it!!
I went to an Xbox One Kiosk yesterday, to voice my great displeasure at all the recent resolution news.
The guy had no clue what I was talking about. He had no idea that BF4 and CODG are lower resolutions on X1.
At one point I was talking about the PS4 demo, and he had to ask what "Knack" was, and even after describing it - he said he had never heard of it.
How can he be marketing for Xbox and not know the competitor's lau...
Can someone explain why one would use PC in the X1 HDMI-In?
Like, I've had my PC plugged into my living room TV for seriously 5 years now.
What advantage does running it through a X1 provide?
I am planning to stop at my local FutureShop to see the Xbox One kiosk, for the second time.
Partly due to wishing to speak my mind on the 720p resolutiongate. (quite like that name)
I also want to retry the controller, which I still think I like very much cause of the rumble triggers.
I take it the video being choppy as hell is a problem only I am having...
edit: definitely my end, even the illuminating light is stuttering
DAmn, busting throught those walls was awesome!
I'll just wait until the movie is on TV - said no one ever
Could you imagine if they made a Gears of War game where you create and customize your own COG like Halo has done with their online spartans!
So you agree. X1 > Wii U.
Wii U = CODG @ 1080p
X1 = CODG @ 720p
But, if 1080p>720p + X1>WiiU
= *Mind explosion*
Yes, that was the subtle point I was hinting towards.
I don't think resolution tells the whole story.
Cause if did it, Wii U hardware > X1 hardware.
(something I think we all would agree is simply not true)
SliceOfTruth made an interesting point
The Wii U version in 1080p.
The Xbox One is 720p
We'll the difference in Wii U vs X1 comparisons.
World at War (PS3/360) was 720p? (The same as Xbox One CODG)
But, Black Op (PS3) was only 544? (A graphically better game than W@W)
I think it's no longer just my eyes that are confused.
"It's disgraceful that I MUST purchase an xbox to play it though."
Once upon a time, I heard someone say it's on PC.
Only one comment in, and somehow i knew that one person had beat me to it.
:D Good one.
I'm guilty for having purchased COD titles only for Zombies...
....not for this though.
@joecanada
I seriously don't know. I have both systems pre-ordered.
I've been flip flopping on which to cancel soo much, I kinda just wanna cancel both.
I'm still playing GTAV constantly.
This may sounds incredibly sad, but I think I am going to go (on Halloween night, early) to an Xbox One demo and tell every one of the PR guys that I am a diehard Xbox fan - and I am going to cancel, or sell unopened, my Xbox One.
And I am going to be very clear - that it is because Microsoft doesn't care for gamers.
I know they'll refute that, but I will say "if they truly did, they'd have made hardware capable of parity"
...
Let me first say, I have no expectations of what the cloud can do - zero.
I think people forget that this is simply now new tech works.
The first, commonly very hyped, applications fail - and set the track record for failing to live up to expectations.
That's always how it is - until someone uses it in a ground breaking way, and then others follow suit.
Almost every - if not every - application of "cloud"...
