Demo systems for both are running on "Demo OS"
When I tried searching throught the PS4 OS, all I could get to was a "netflix" like view of the avaible demos. Pinball, Knack, Contrast, FIFA14 and OctoDAD.
I could not view the "dashboard" just like at the X1 kiosk

Cause I was talking nothing but praise about the brand, and how awesome the new controller is.. but the supervisor just happened to over hear my only negative question regarding Kinect voice detection with two gamertags in the same room.
My question was, if my friends and I are both on seperate X1's in the same room, will the two systems be able to detect who's voice is whos. And poperly only have one system, and it's own voice, work...
I made this happen at a Xbox One kiosk by attempting to "Sign In" - after the spokemen specifically told me "don't try that"
I just laughed, and said 'I wanted to see what happened'
then we continued talking about X1 games I'm looking forward to, what I liked about the controller.

The new shot looks way worse. Not Lighting bloom, no post processing, and the buildings look waaaaay worse.
I seriously can't see how people could EVER say the second skyscrapers are superior. They're darker, and clearer, but that cause the processing has been taken out.
The originals look much more natural

Your concerns are justified, but the thing is MS has been far more engaging with the gamers than Sony has.
Sony has been letting the "haz more power" crowd do all they work for them. They have been quite evasive on letting people actually *see* the console working.

Xbox One kiosk don't "kick you off" for trying to access the OS.
The guy has to a full of sh1t fanboy to make things like that up,
I tried. And yeah, the Dev kits don't have much OS on them. You cant go to try to login, cause they don't allow that.
But that's because the demo kits literally don't have te full OS.

We have members willing openly say "the console war feels personal to me, I want Sony to blow the Xbox out of the sky" AND get more agrees than disagrees.

You can't accurately judge either console, especially anything Xbox, when you "personal feelings" are...

Honest opinion: I think I (still) like the Xbox controller. The DS has a ton of improvements. And I didn't test the touchpad. But the Xbox rumble triggers were really cool.
