Because they couldn't fit the Ni No Kuni shipments alongside all those FIFA games /s
I honestly don't know why, some stupid embargo, or maybe it was a business decision. Maybe different spelling in the game box, and they only manufacture 1 regions at a time? I honestly have no idea. Best to avoid the internet though, spoilers.....
Me to. This game could go either way as far as reviews are concerned, but I know i will love it. I thought the 2010 AvP was fantastic. Sure, it had its faults, but if you love Aliens and predator, it was a blast.
I recently watched the Extended blu-Ray version, and it is f****** amazing. The picture quality is so superb. Can't wait for this game.
The only bad thing I have heard about the game is that the Alien body's glitch a bit. At least you get to ...
I hope it does also. So many under-appreciated JRPG's, it would make me very happy if this one GOTY (obviously it will win some, but I mean lots and lots).
The only contenders so far, at least for me are Metro Last light, Beyond 2 Souls and The Last Of us
PS3 owners should also check out tales of Vesperia. You can import it, and the PS3 version has added features and dialogue (waaay more dialogue). It is rumoured to be releasing in the West (only japan ri...
It was to be expected. It never looked like failing. Every single screenshot was beautiful. It is one of those games that depsite what consoles people own, they will fall in love with it. The only game i think that will be able to compete with this game quality wise this year is The Last of Us and beyond 2 sous.
This year is going to be better than last year for sure. Aliens, Ni No Kuni, GoW A, Gears Judgement, tLOU, B2S.
Anyone who hasn't taken the leap ...
Thanks Hicks, I knew you would agree with me.
It is not going to be a technical marvel, as it has had some development hiccups apparently. From the game-play vids I have seen, it has some sweet atmosphere, especially outside on the planet. Can't wait.
................and Call Of Duty doesn't NEED a new engine.
I'm a Pokemon fan, but am disappointed at the extreme lack of anything 'new' and fresh. As long as people keep buying them, they have no reason to 'improve'.
I think it does need this 3D world, as it has me excited. The first time I have been excited for a Pokemon game in years. If only they could make a 3D world for the Wii U, that would make me happy.
@KiRBY
Conveniently, you're to dumb to know that Turn 10 did not develop Horizon. LMAO. Of course, they are an Xbox dev so you should expect a lot of agrees from this biased ass community.
Ni no kuni and the Walking dead both got an 8, as expected. An 8/10 from EDGE is the same as most people's 9-10.
Could this be one of the first games Published under Activision where the developers actually have some sense of freedom in the creative process? I really hope this game is not a flop, and not a 'really good' game. I hope it is an amazing game, like a Bioshock or Uncharted 2.
The gaming worlds eyes will be on Bungie when they have a complete reveal of this game, most likely at E3. I hope for their sake that they can succeed where others have failed. Bungie seem like a...
Both on their own or combined lol? (Might not be the right place to answer this with 'both' lol)
In Australia the PS3 was $1000, and I still got one. Even the PSX was $700 when I got it. Love to be able to get the PS4 for roughly the same price as everyone else, but I doubt the prices would be comparable. Even though the Australian dollar is better vs the US dollar.
Actually, I'd say the real gamers are the ones who were rightfully complaining. It had N64 graphics with shitty, generic game-play.
The only people defending it were deluded 'TWD' fanboys. I am a huge 'TWD' fan btw, so I am annoyed that they do not respect the fans enough to release something half-decent looking. There is also nothing to point out that they are focusing on story, which is really what TWD is about.
I really hope it turns ou...
Normally I'm not in support of slamming developers, but I think gamers have got it right. Developers can't forget their fans and turn their backs for money (in this case from EA).
I'd like to think that Bioware learned from their mistakes, but I doubt it.
Agreed. Another thing people need to consider is that the sizes of games increase also. Internet speed as we know it now is much more costly and takes much longer to upgrade than it does for a game to increase in GB.
I want all my games next gen to take advantage of blu-ray with un-compressed audio and video, and not be disabled by slow internet.
As a business, maybe not. But you can at least admit their PR can restrain themselves. They could have easily used the PSN attack to their advantage, but they didn't.
Then again, as usual, people hear what they want to hear on N4G.
Um......that wasn't me before??.............FUUUUUUUU -

"I am serious, as a christian it is my duty to ban games that are too violent"
And on the seventh day, God said; lets ban video games that are too violent!!
GTFO. You religious people always the first to shift the blame. Ever heard of the crusades? Yup no video games back then. Oh, and last time I checked there was no such game that simulated molesting young boys and girls that had you controlling a priest.

@XXXL
First off, that was a fucked up thing to say lol.
Secondly, I'm using my tablet, and can only see your avatar in poor quality. If that is a chick, she has a nice ass. If not, then..........
People always give MS flak for their past sins (any PC gamer can tell you why, or any PC enthusiast lol), but their PR department is classy, which is more than can be said of other companies. EA are the absolute worse, and will attack at the throat any chance they get.
I never like companies that attack each other, as it is childish. Glad to see a great response from ms. Right now Gabe Newell is probably slowly putting on suglasses; "challenge, accepted".
Alan Wake is one of my favourite games of all time. Funny thing is, I bought it at the end of 2011, as all the screenshots of the game made it look like boring trash. It sold very well due to word of mouth, that is how I ended up getting it. The first night I played it, I thought it was cool and different, but it didn't click with me.
I kept playing it, 1 episode at a time. I fell in love with it, the DLC's and American Nightmare. I am addicted to it. That 'honey...
