How does it compare to Diablo 3? I've already got Torchlight 2 on pre-order and I'm very curious.
Haha! I know exactly what you mean. I also play as the demonhunter and there is a bit of a inconsistency in the stats. While Strength and Intelligence(for resists) helps for defence, dexterity doesn't boost it in any way. So you are left with doing high DPS and running like a bitch, while Ivan Drago and his hot chick agent runs after you for a instakill. Rocky is just on the side, dunno if he should throw in the towel or alt+F4.

Typically, N4G screams like a abattoir full of retarded children. Diablo 3 is pretty damn good, even if you nit pick it, trying to find the faults which you will find btw, you'll still realise you have invested 40+ hours already and you're having fun.
My brother and I spent about 2 hours one night unlocking all the coop weapons, so just get a friend and you'll be set.

I thought the game will be colourful like my little pony, but after playing 30 minutes with the demon hunter I can see I was totally wrong. Game is dark and music/graphics is atmospheric. Pretty damn cool.

According to racism: African, Asian, Caucasian... are all humans with different coloured skin. If you assign attributes to to humans purely because of the colour of their skin, then you are racist.

I feel like a tool for buying BF3, people made it out to be an intelligent alternative to COD, but that was just EA marketing talking. It sounded like you either have to buy COD or BF3, because different species play either game and are incompatible.
Therefore the aloof and snooty bought BF3 and thought "I am teh much smarter then COD fan hehe". What you got though is a broken game(dart glitch, rubbish suppression) and made EA's version of Bobby buy a new privat...
It all depends on the net code now. I am South African, of course, and Diablo 2 worked fine when playing on the European servers. BUT Diablo 2 was created back in the days of dial-up. Uurg, maybe SAIX, WAGE or Mweb will come to the rescue :(

So long as the MP is balanced when it's released. God knows, the open beta for Battlefield 3 didn't help at all and six months after release it's still a buggy and unbalanced game.
The fact is that all developers must include multiplayer, since current state of gaming "journalism" will criticize the game if it is absent. I remember when Uncharted 1 came out, reviewers stated the lack of MP as a con.
Honestly, rather give me one or the other. Rather than a good SP game with tacked on MP, such as Dead Space 2. Or a good MP game with tacked on SP, such as BF3. But reviewers won't agree with me.

I also played Diablo 2 to death, had a lvl 91 Zealer and a 88 assassin trapper. Had all the gear, phase blade, enigma armor, fortitude etc etc. That is the only reason I'm playing Diablo 3 at the moment, I have to see what the end game has to offer. But I'm having a hard time completing the game again in Hell, because it's getting a bit boring... Same shit, different difficulty.
