Yes the story and relationship will be most important. If it goes too far into the "kill others to survive" and "kill zombies" it will look really really familiar and dull.
Dude, most articles from non 'pure news' sites involve opinion. Could it be that you just don't agree with this one, so reject it?
Look at all the articles on the new Devil May Cry. Or about Vita. Or 3DS. Or Kinect. They are ALL opinion pieces.
Throwing 'zombies' into a 'survival' game is really old and this game looks like the movie I Am Legend so obviously. I Am Alive seems like a better concept that is similar in my opinio...
Yeah I agree about all those groups and individuals who think the 'end is near' every time something bad happens.
There's so much negativity these days (just watch the news) that I love games like Uncharted that are fun and uplifting. We need more games like that and less of these serious 'gotta save the world' or 'survive terrible things' apocalypse games.
And definitely less zombie games!
Yes! Especially since this gen has been out so long. I wasn't impressed when Sony promised backwards compatibility then removed it.
It's a good idea. Achievements are more addictive than trophies, but both are ultimately useless, except for bragging rights.
Making them worth something like UPlay points, where you can download skins or whatever is a good idea.
I like the sound of anything that can make less loading times or change having to download the game from the disc onto the drive first!
I don't get why MS decided a 4gig console right now made sense. I mean, it couldn't cost that much more to make it at least 20 for those who only play Kinect. Not much DLC for Kinect can't be bought for a 4gig..not even demos.
Agreed dedicatedtogamers!
Do all articles have to be boring and serious?
This one is so over the top that it almost loses its central message about digital distribution, but the message is an important one: should we go all digital?
I don't think he's being that serious about the communism and pro-American thing.
What I get out of it is that digital future means a lot of issues that maybe we should think about.
He wraps that message in a satire about the dangers of 'communism' that the US traditionally has worried about...
Mind you, we've all contributed to the digital market, I'm pretty sure.
What if there was no competition though, and we HAD to pay the digital price established by whoever? Look at the PSP GO!: the prices for digital games were way more expensive than what a physical copy costed in retailers where competition saw lowered prices.
Controls are kind of important...they'd be the first thing to get right in a game adapted to tablet...
I hope they can still make a good title...these days you have to be Ubisoft, EA, MS, or Sony to afford to make a good AAA shooter.
There are so many remakes these days, can't anybody come up with a new idea?
MGS was a series about stealth and shooting action.
This spin-off is Bayonetta or Devil May Cry and is only related by 'title'.
At least with the shooter Brothers In Arms: Furious Four, which takes a serious shooter franchise to over the top shooting, they are still shooters.
This takes MGS from one genre to another impossibly different one. It just doesn't make sense.
"Devil May Rise: Cryvengance"
Too true lol. Looks nuff.
I agree with the judgement on the VGAs, I think they took it over the top...
I haven't really heard of this game but since it is going to be free to play it might be worth checking out.
I don't know what else racing games can do anymore, besides increase the graphics. You can't really change driving around tracks can you?
It seems that this game is just another racer.
Except that like Dead Island they have released a trailer to get us to formulate opinion. It's what it was for: to get us excited about their product.
So if their trailer does the opposite, it is worth mentioning so they get that not everyone likes their direction.
