I just can't see Wii U taking off.
I think they are employing the same strategy as with the Wii in hopes it works, but smartphones have taken casuals now, and even the TV remote and tablet idea isn't enough.
3DS should do even better though I think this year.
It certainly doesn't sway me. I play where my mates are. And that's only because I'm lucky enough to have both PS3 and 360
The game does look more action oriented, but that's where stealth seems to be going.
The voice will take awhile to get used to, but the new one is fairly close. At least it isn't as bad as having an American accent for an arabic assassin (as in the first Assassin's Creed).

Yeah I expected a Sony fanboy rage at the show, but really the points are well made, except I was more impressed with Halo than he was.
I also thought the Smart Glass concept was good, except its uses in game.
The timed DLC stuff I agree with: stupid as.
It was still no surprise and the speakers are boring, but the games...it was about the games.

Agree about Tomb Raider and Halo 4, but Call of Duty looked like more 'blockbuster' explosive set pieces with a bit of choice in the 'sniper' or 'rappel' instead of someone constantly yelling "get moving"!

Dishonored looks awesome. So does Tomb Raider. If these are just the pre-E3 trailers there must be a heap going to be shown this year.
