I can't imagine what it's be like walking around a crowded noisy place made up of mostly men and virtually no clothes on. I hope they get paid well.
"all while sitting in the refrigerator?"
That speech was hilarious.
I don't know how Metal Gear Rising Ridiculous Repeating R Revengence can claim to be a Metal Gear game. But I guess there was that RTS game Halo Wars, so I may be being a bit unfair expecting titles to stay true to their roots.
It's where the money is at...as he said Call of Duty shows that.
I agree that better AI is the solution to making it more fun.
I remember how revolutionary it was when I first played Splinter Cell. There isn't enough patience now, but it's about replicating that tension, without slowing down the fun.
I like these shorter list previews: I don't want to read huge long pieces right now cause there's too much to take in!
Not sure how Gears of War is going to go with so many other great more 'updated' games coming.
I think IGN said it looks like a deeper GTA.
I'm game. GTA is getting a bit tired now.
It certainly looks more original than Tomb Raider, more involved than The Last of Us, and a modern AC with more shooting.
I agree all those titles are amazing but this one has the most interesting potential.
Mind you I like the look of the other 3 better...Chicago is a bit dreary. Do we really need another US city? This guy could hack anywhere in the world!
At least it isn't New York again!
This game looks absolutely amazing: it borrows from the best in the business but still comes back with a unique feel and gameplay ideas.
How the hell did they keep this secret?
Definite buy by the looks of it.
Maybe Ironside has a dodgy back? Can't climb walls no more?
I thought he sounded fairly close, but he just can't match that nuanced speech Ironside can.
That's the hope. I don't mind the action myself, if it is different enough from the others.
I'm not sure most gamers these days have the patience for gameplay like the original Splinter Cell.
Ironside had menace and sarcasm down pat.
I guess with less subtle gameplay comes less subtle voice acting...
Maybe the conferences, but the games that are coming are pretty tasty. October is going to see me bankrupt though!
I thought you'd skin them and sell their pelts?
There's a few neighbourhood dogs I'd like to do that to...
The change in Splinter Cell is...interesting. More of an action game.
There are games I didn't remember in there like Lost Planet! Does anyone remember that one when there are so many new titles looking good?
Or E3 next year...
Great point....It's so hard not to have things leaked these days that it should be regarded as a major success if there is ANY surprise!!!!
To be honest I don't have the cash for a new console.
I was hoping that the PS Vita would get a price drop though...maybe at Christmas?
But then there are so many great games again!
I agree with the author. There's no reason why E3 should be all about new announcements that shake the gaming world.
We have just got used to big tech etc. announcements
There are plenty of good games there and the new Ips like Last of Us and Watch Dogs are looking great, as are 'rebooted' games like Tomb Raider and AC3
Good to see that Elder Scrolls Online is something special.
Not surprised that Playstation All Stars is just like Super Smash Bros. That was kind of the point I think.
Sleeping Dogs looks disappointing while Dishonored looks promising...
Maybe they thought there WAS a potential zombie apocalypse made up of a bunch of smelly nerdy gamers?
You know...some PR guys would assume the worst of gamer media probably :P
