Yeah I think I'll invest in this just because it sounds and looks so cool, and see if COD or MOH are actually a bit different this time (as in more gameplay less explosion and movie).

I'm more of a single player person anyway.

This and ACIII are at the top of my list for this year!

So true about people getting bored. All those corridor games that tell you "follow", "hurry up" do this do that like we are in an interactive movie instead of a game...

I think this game will live up to expectation, though I will miss the architecture we got to traverse in the other games

Bioshock Infinite will be great, but isn't out until next year.

You should give Dishonored a try. It looks like it's borrowed heavily from Bioshock and Thief, and that's a good thing.

I agree with Bathyj.

The fact that they are releasing prior to the big titles at the end of the year, coupled with word of mouth from those that have given the first one a try (probably after getting it later from the bargain bin), means this one should do great!

Might be why they buy it, but it isn't why they SHOULD buy it.

Or is it? Actually I change my mind. I'm sick of Mario and co. and think a great fun fighting game like Super Smash but with Sony characters is going to be great.

I'd like to see a MS one too.

I really want this to succeed.

It has a bit of historic 'realism' with its environments and themes but also a bit of 'otherworld' that makes it able to do new things too.

I hope people give it a go instead of trotting like sheep to the next COD.

I love the vision of this game and that you can go through it potentially without killing anyone. That's a challenge for hardcore gamers: to go against the instincts trained in us in so many games to kill and instead find solutions that are different.

I know about 4 people who have suffered depression and are into gaming. I'm not sure if gaming is where they go to try and escape or if they just do it because they feel disconnected from everyone.

It's amazing how many people you know who don't tell you they've had depression or have it.

It's a normal console. That's too bad.

I wonder if Sony is going to do another God of War bundle?

Is there such thing as too much choice :P ?

They don't say if it is going to look different, but the Modern Warfare 3 one last year did.

The dancing in the opening show was pretty meh, but the show's bike stunt part was excellent. Some great Cosplay people too!

I remember the 'rifle duels' we used to have down the main street of the French village; to see who would actually hit the other person first, only to get shot by someone else up in a window!

These days everything is done at top speed and yeah I miss the simplicity (but not the graphics or the lack of sprint!)

I still think PSN and XBLA titles need more marketing by Sony and MS.

This looks very interesting

I'm turned off by the whole "Follow me", "hurry up" linear games out there!

I was waiting for Thief 4 to finally come out, but at least there is this one in the meantime!

Is this anything like True Crime?

Half Life 3, urban legend?

Looks like fun, but shame the explosions suck.

Some interesting new Ips there. I'm glad to see that Sony still values them.
