Did the original come with the challenge modes? This one has the challenge modes, which its been a while, but they are time trials, and min number of portal trials.
iirc it was updated to a 250 gamer score title from a 200 point gamerscore title, the extra 50 having to do with the challenge levels...
Well Rule one of XBLU Club is you don't talk about XBLU Club...
Edit at below:
I don't wanna upset the powers that be that just gave me a free copy of Halo Reach;P Now hold still while I burn your hand with this lye!

I just wanted to point out that regardless of which version is best looking (clearly the PC version) that this is an excelent time for a list, because my n4g stalkers like to pm me lists I thought I would just return the favor
CVG
"best looking fps ever"
IGN
"Crysis 2 on Xbox 360 has taken the crown for best graphics in a console game"

Lol, armchair developer here, I can't wait for this because us armchair developers will get to play with the old version of the tools now without laying out 30k dollars;P
At least Games On Demand is in dollars instead of MSP.
I can tell the difference as well, but it is not enough to matter... And dang, that dude is about ready to melt the solder on his video card for these changes that are almost completely irrelevant...
Crytek made the right decision on texture size.
For me what made this game excellent was how the game lets you accomplish the missions different ways, yet manages to provide you with a challenge no matter how you do it.
Later in the game... Say the Central Station boss fight, you have to employ all the suit abilities to pass the level, and it provides a serious challenge. (Veteran mode)

There is a certain type of gamer that suffers from those effects, but gamers like me who have a life outside of gaming... well unless it is a really great game... I can't tolerate gaming for more than an hour or two a day.
Now recently I had to drive 17 hours to Florida from Ohio for my job, and the number one way to lose time is to stop, and when I drive I...

I agree, and same thing with pen and paper role playing games. They cause you to think about things in a certain way that you would not think about things if you were not exposed to the games...
For example, after world war 2 the US Army started having soldiers practice shoot at targets that looked like humans, because without that desensitization soldiers would tend to shoot over their targets because they didn't want to kill people... After they started desensitizing ...
Bummer, and you are still waiting, that day still has not come...
@Shikamrooo above...
No. This article uses an even more speculative number called the "active install base" which has nothing to do with sales what so ever.

I don't care, the ps3 is still in last place, shipped or sold to consumers. Now that the xbox is the christmas console of choice because of Kinect, however close the PS3 g...
This article isn't about sales. PS3 is still losing in sales. This article is about "active install base". In other words these numbers are even more speculative that fakechartz.com.
PS3 is still in last place sales wise.
Well the main thing from dx11 is displacement maps. If there were no displacement maps generated while the game was being created there really is no reason to use dx11.
Also from the Kotaku video yesterday, the game is already almost photorealistic...
Personally, I think C2 does look better than C1, they have chosen a better more realistic color gamut.
Ok my step dad was on his death bed and I asked him if there were any movies he wanted to see before he died, and he croaked "What if I want my two hours back?"

Make sure you enjoy these games in your mis-spent youth because when you are clearing up your bucketlist, I seriously doubt video games or movies will be on that list...
I played this game, and enjoyed the heck out of the hour or so it took me to complete it. It deserves at least a 68-69.
If we do a linear plot of the "streamlining" the next version of of ME will be a total FPS shooter, and will require you to rebuy the game as DLC before you can launch it...
I think with the overall effect, Crysis 2 lookes better than real life though.
Recently found Saints Row 2 on the bottom shelf at Gamestop. Wow, Rockstar screwed up GTAIV, this is the game I wanted to play when I purchased GTAIV day one.
Rockstar took a screw around and have fun game, and replaced it with a serious game where it didn't really belong.
Also it is yet another datapoint in my mind that Graphics only need to be compotent, what we need are more gameplay options.

Im gonna take a wait and see on ME3, so much about ME2 let me down.
And I want to spend of time here complaining about day one DLC. Just imagine the most horrible and rotten things I could say about day one DLC, and thats what I would write, but Im tired from hauling lumber up stairs all day and I dont have it in me right now to creatively complain about it...
