Ps3 for me. The face buttons on the Dualshock feel much more responsive than the 360 pad which feel a bit stiff in comparison. At least for me, action games on the dualshock always feel better.
You've got to hand it to P*. After the mishap of Beyonetta on Ps3 they've really come around and learned to develop for it, and it shows in Vanquish and MGR.
I remember them saying the 1frame input lag was due to the way electricity moved throughout the ps3. It's of course bs cause xtekken has no input lag lol.
Honestly like the idea of a 2013 version so long as they don't nerf anyone, especially cammy :), and only buff.
I agree with you there but this wizard edition is pretty neat. Having the spellbook from the game in a physical form really helps. I find it tedious having to pause the game search the book, zoom in when you can read the text etc etc etc. For an extra $40 it was totally worth it.
With payday tomorrow i still need to pre-order, though I hate giving GameStop my money. Hopefully they still have some pre-orders left. Sucks how this edition doesn't have the artbook, guess I'll try it on EBay.
Day one here too! Though I think actually buying the console would come first lol. Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game so this is a no brainier.
I hope the story is as good as the original. In my opinion it's the best one out of all 4 and I'm worried with Laharl being a girl it might be too light hearted? Still buying it regardless lol.
"3ds wasn't supported on all platforms"
Does the Wii U not support 3D cause I know the 360, Ps3 and PC do.
Or just spent $50 on a 500gb hard drive. I'm assuming Sony will keep with the standard 2.5" laptop hard drives that you can just pop in and format.
Yes let's brag about how a console released LAST year has better graphics than the two released in 2005 and 2006... -_-
I never knew that. This demo doesn't really tell you anything aside from how to parry. Which it cool cause finding out stuff like that is fun. Thanks though!
This game has a different take on the action game combat system. There's no traditional block button or even a dodge move. There are parries but the fact that they require a directional input and a button input involves both good timing and skill. Yeah the main selling point is cutting everything but in my opinion parrying is SO FUN.
This game I'd amazing. It takes awhile to get used to the parrying but once you do it's a hell of a lot of fun. P* does it again.
Naughty Dog art book... Yeap definitely buying.
Mario Kart Wii-U. There. System seller. Lol
I consider Lair of the Shadow Broker the best mission in the whole Mass Effect trilogy.
Despite all this though some of my favorite games of this gen are from Japanese Devs. Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3 & 4, every game from P*, Catherine and Gravity Rush. Maybe because those are very Japanese and aren't necessarily westernized.
Anyways I never agreed with making a game cater to a certain culture. That what makes gaming so great, different Devs from different culture bring all at to their games. What the point if everything game is the same?
I play on a 21.5" ASUS monitor because it has a 2ms response time and its 1080p anyways so that makes up for the quality. I like small screens because i dont have to move my eyes around as much when i game, that and the fact that my bedroom isn't that big to have a big 50" lol.
There's just so many mechanics in the Disgaea franchise to keep track of that it surprised me shes playing it too lol
Great games. I can imagine the humor helps a lot.
So he's complaining about the camera controls in "cut mode" when you can just switch them in the options menu. Complains about parrying because he wants an easy block button. Complains about no stealth when it's CLEARLY an action game.
I'll give him the AI thing because it is pretty dumb i can literally stealth kill (but i thought this game had no stealth) a guy right next to someone and the other one wouldnt notice. But he really thinks P* is the number...
