Wii-U and Ps3/Vita/Ps4 all allow indie devs to self-publish their games on their network now so whats stopping MS from doing it? Its not a quality control thing because I just played Guacamelee and Thomas Was Alone and those games were fantastic and were self published games. Of course MS could just throw money at indie devs and put them on XBLA under their "Microsoft Studios" publishing.
Which is why most indie games who go the console route are on Sony platforms now.
As an analyst he going to think it'll sell, which it will. Maybe not to "hardcore" gamers but the message MS said was "we want to take over your living room" so football fans and call of duty fans will definitely pick it up.
Of course Sony didn't reveal all their features and why would they? I mean they were only announcing their console in FEBRUARY... That would make no sense at all.
But yes, I agree. E3 will actually be exciting this year. However, it seems like people think MS was the only console manufacturer who was saving games for E3.
Please if you want real JRPGs they've been hitting the Ps3 constantly. Disgaea 4, Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk, Tales of Graces F & Ni no Kuni just in the last year and 360 got what exactly? Even this year we're getting Disgaea D2 and Tales of Xilia. Heck Japan devs are still making PSP JRPGs and that system "died" a long time ago.
Well I can play Portal 2 on my PS3 with cousin who's on PC and I can play Street Fighter x Tekken on my Vita against people on Ps3... and from my understanding both the PC and Vita have extremely different architecture so yeah.
You're comment is also interesting. You're bashing Sony for backwards compatibility but you're defending xBox for not having cross-play then you go back to backwards compatibly for your final statement with the NES & SNES bit.

This is true. Higher resolutions aren't everything. Why is it now, when the next gen of consoles are coming, we get new engines. Look at it: Unreal4, Cryteck3, Frostbite 3, Capcom and Square Enix's new engine. Developers of multiplatform games program for the lowest common denominator. THAT IS FACT. The next gen of gaming starts now.

After the patch to manually install, it was fine. Lets be honest the 360 had framerate issues too.
Well it's $20 on PSN now so you really have no excuse. I played it with the patch and it was fine for me. Nothing was broken or anything game breaking. It's a great game. Honestly the best action game this genre.
Please, that would involve them doing more work. If you think about it with the next gen consoles using AMD parts thats another excuse for them.
