Honestly why can't Namco do what they did with One Piece: Pirate Warriors and just translate the text? Sure a JRPG would have more lines but I doubt that would matter to the audience who's going to buy this game. I wouldn't care playing it with Japanese voices and English subs.
It's okay we still got exclusives like Valkyira Chronicles, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Disgaea 3 & 4 and Demons Souls. With Ni no Kuni, Disgaea D2, The Witch and the Hundred Knights and Xilia we still have some good jrpgs for 2013.
Oh and Versus 13 is still a Ps3 exclusive... Unless MS uses that "dirty money" to make that multiplatform too.
Shane got annoying at times but he was that devils advocate that made Invisible walls so fun to listen to. So I wish him luck in whatever he does but with all this talk of the "new gametrailers" I'm a bit worried.
My 60gb just YLOD on me so I'm stuck at a crossroads... I'm definitely getting a new Ps3 but I don't know whether I should get the Slim or the Super Slim.
I REALLY don't like the way the black super slim looks but according to examiner a white super slim bundle is due the 29th of this month and that looks A LOT better. But Ni no Kuni comes out the 22nd and I want to get that ASAP because Sly is out February. So now I'm thinking of getting a black slim be...
Compared to the placeholder boxart, this boxart is legitimately bad IN MY OPINION.
1. In the official cover the "Crysis 3" tittle doesn't contrast well with the dark grey/black suit. The red in the title just isn't bright enough to stand out from a distance. The place holder cover had the title against the white-ish-green background, thus creating a better contrast. In the placeholder, only the "Y" in Cysis is hindered by a dark background where...
It really is. I mean logically its easier to read the "Crysis 3" title in the placeholder because the background gives a better contrast.
That Siren Ascendent head looks EPIC! Wish they would've kept it consistant and did a whole body skin and not just the head.
I have a Vita and played Liberation, so let me rephrase that... I hope the protagonist is another female.
Whatever happens I hope the protagonist is a female. Lol
Well Disgaea 1 comes out next week and IMO has the best story and set of characters, maybe because I played it when it first came out lol. But I do recommend playing it first because its the "purest" of the games you're going to get because the sequels just add more to the systems developed in the first.
But there are ALOT of features in Disgaea games and truthfully its the way all of them are weaved together that make the game so great. The grid styled turn-ba...
Just as I typed that my Ps3 YLOD. Such a cruel world, my saves were all on there :(
But I agree, Disgaea 4 with the HD sprites would look great on the Vita. They just announced Disgaea D2 which continues Laharl's story too!
First Disgaea 1 and now 2? If I didn't already have the discs and a backwards compatible Ps3 I'd so buy these. Everyone who is a JRPG fan should play these tittles, very hardcore and very fun. The story doesn't take itself too seriously but the funny characters bring it life.
Get the Witcher 2 not only is it an AMAZING RPG it is a looker in both art and tech. It is literally night and day when you compare the 360 to the PC version. I believe it's only $20 with steam sales on throughout the year.
It's sad how much better these games are compared to the anime, better animations = better representations if the manga. Awesome art as usual. CyberConnect2 does these Narutos games right. If only they got the lisence for One Piece!
Disgaea 2, 3, 4 all use the same mechanics and are within the same universe. However they take place within different netherworlds and feature a different protagonist with a different set of characters. Certain characters from previous games make cameos but Disgaea D2 is the true sequel to Disgaea 1. Continuing the story with Laharl, Etna and Flonne.
It's sad that this article has more hits than the actual trailer itself. -_-
Now this is an interesting comment because, with all the articles floating around with the next Xbox and PS and what they're specs are its fine. It's okay if those article say things like "Xbox720 8gb ram" or "PS4 AMD CPU" but as soon as a PC gamer says their specs its suddenly blasphemy.
But my PC is already way better than the Steambox, unless the Steambox has an i7 3770k, 16gb ram, SSD and a GTX 660ti lol
If I didn't spend $800+ on a new PC last year id definitely buy the Steambox. Valve can definitely do this though, their steam sales are amazing. One thing that would be cool would be for them to make their own "Steambox" controller. Sure the Xbox controller and various 3rd party controllers work but if they want to capture the casual audience, a Steambox with a Steambox controller would look really nice and not confuse customers.
You know if they kept the sleekness throughout the whole kid instead of going for that lines texture on the top a lot more people would like this.
