So your cancelling a pre-order because the game has an optional mode that you dont need to play if you wanna get the optimal game in sp?
They said they opened up another studio for multi-player.
"To reach that level of quality, last year BioWare opened a studio in Montreal .... Both studios work together as partners, lead by the core Mass Effect team, unified in a single vision."
So at least we know it wasn't just tacked on, nor did they compromise the single-player.
Caspian Border isn't another Rush map correct?
Downloaded the beta on my 360 to play with my friends and I must say... it really really sucks. So I decided to download it on my PC, booted it up... then play it for hours. I don't know why but it just flowed so much better on my PC, even with all the bugs I enjoyed it more.
The beta itself sucked, a lot of my friends who are COD players didn't like it. They kept saying its the same as COD, and in my opinion its because of the game type. Don't get me wrong, ...
I've bought Sf4, Ssf4 for the Ps3 then Ssf4 again for the 360, then Arcade edition. MvC3, Sf3:OE, MvC 2 & SF2T.
Already have UMvC3 and SfxT on pre-order. Call me what you want but Capcom makes amazing fighting games and thats why I buy them. To each his own I guess.
While I get what your saying, in this particular case is it really a big deal? I mean its just colors. BlazBlu, a game not developed by Capcom, has colors as dlc but I don't see ppl going "f*ck Arc System" or anything like that. It has no influence on the gameplay and you don't need it to play the game.
Fans: "Re-release Street Fighter 3rd Strike." We got SF3: 3rd Strike: Online Edition.
Fans: "Patch Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition the twins are too strong." They're working on it now.
.... point is.... they are listening to fans.
Yeap, Cammy White. In my opinion the best SF female, also my main, of course she would win.
So people are complaining about not getting their money's worth on something they don't have to buy? The whole point of DLC is that it's optional you don't NEED it to play the game... or did they somehow change that recently?
I've died in this game countless times just on "normal mode." But its one of the most gratifying, bizarre, and different puzzlers (actually games in general) that I've played in awhile. Can't really comment on the story cause I haven't finished but so far, its pretty awesome. It deserves all the good press its getting, totally worth the money.
Warning: Trying to be faithful is really really hard to do in this game lol.
There is one major thing that controller will be extremely useful for in games like Dead Space, Batman, Mass Effect etc etc. and thats displaying inventoy and stats.
@tudors Thats very true battlefield did look amazing on a stream but its mainly due to how bright the scene was so its easier to see detail. Uncharted was mostly dark, so details don't come across all that well.
Did you ever take into consideration that your watching a press conference? Through a stream for that matter so every game's graphics will look like crap. And if by "AL" you mean "AI" then Bioware said Mass Effect 3's normal difficulty is as hard as Mass Effect 2's veteran, and yet in the demo they all were pretty easy. Maybe... just maybe... developers want to actually go through their presentation without dying a couple times.
I'm pretty sure they used this trailer as an opportunity to capture more gamers. Thats probably why they chose all the action sequences and fast pasted music (I agree though it was bad). But the Omni-Blade looks sick AND they brought back grenades!
@Bushlitter
Unlike EA, Sony wouldnt push their developers to do a DA2.
I main Cammy who has NO projectile and I beat Ryu, Ken and Akumas all the time. Your clearly jumping to conclusions, in the first gameplay trailer from comic-con you clearly see Kazuya duck under Ryu's fireballs. Capcom knows what their doing.
Sf4 is only good if you invest time in learning what to do. After that it becomes extremely fun IMO.
But i'd like to say no, fighting games will not end up like the recycled crap guitar hero had becomes. Even if SSF 4 came out a year after Sf4, there was still enough of an update to warrent a purchase at $40 with ten new characters, new ultras & balance tweaks. The thing I love about fighting games is theyre all so different. SSF4 is a 6 button game, slightly slower ...
Street Fighter is the better game regardless of how many modes or mini-games MK9 offers. Why? Because Street Fighter focuses on it's fighting mechanics... you know, the thing that all fighting games should do.
This tittle is very deceiving but I understand what he means after reading the article. While it isn't Smash Bros in the sense of its genre, it is Smash Bros in the ideal: putting franchise mascots in the same game. I would however, LOVE to see a Sony Smash Bros game. Helghan vs. Drake vs. Kratos vs. Cole? I'd buy it.
"It is important to note that the system is entirely optional and just another way players can have control over your game experience – it is still possible to achieve the optimal, complete ending of the game in Mass Effect 3 through single-player alone."
I wonder where you stopped reading...
