So lets see so far a 7.5 an 8 and now an 8.5. Doesn't really matter to me, I'm buying the game regardless but glad to know other people are enjoying this.
Nothing and I mean nothing will ever beat tactile feedback. And with images of the prototype Ps4 controller I really believe Sony understands that. Yes it has motion integration with the move sensor on top but it's implamented in a smart way that doesn't seem "gimmicky" like it does with a wand.

To be fair the new Ps3 models have only been available in bundles, at least here in USA. Once Sony announces just the core system itself then you'll see it selling a lot more.
I just don't see how they can do BC without having a chip. At least when you have a disc. If its something you downloaded then they could use Gaikai to look at your account and stream the games you've bought. However, I (like many ppl) have a lot of disc based games that I'd want to play everything on one platform. We'll see though.

Which is why I'm glad Sly was brought down to $40. Maybe it's a new pricing structure Sony's doing with lesser 1st party games but I'd like to see this adapted with other publishers.
I'm definitely getting Crysis 3 though after it drops to $20. I don't feel like paying $60 for a game I'm only interested in playing single player for.

Edit: Ah, a mini USB and a separate power output. Don't see why they need these two things when the whole point of the custom Vita usb was to allow for this.

This. Lately I've been playing my games in short sessions rather than cramming it all in a single playthrough. Don't know why but before I use to be motivated into beating a game as quickly as possible but now I tend to take my time. For example when Uncharted 2 came out I beat that in a weekend but when Uncharted 3 released it took me 2 weeks and it didn't bother me.
Logic dictates that If this game was 5 hours long this score would either A) lower than an 8 or B) shows how good the mechanics are because they override the 5 hour experience. BUT why bother using logic on the Internet right?
