Makes sense. Probably from a purely technical and service point of view. Nintendo has great ips, but are woefully behind in hardware and services. Although, I really dont care about services though.
Yes, censorship is bad, but if you look at the way Japanese games, and even anime nowadays, it has become overrun with sexual content. Now, instead of coming up with new and original ideas, you add some bouncy waifus and include a titty mousepad to sell your mediocre game. I'm not against the content, but saying that censorship alone is inhibiting games is ridiculous.
I enjoyed it, but there was too much busy work and the game was artificially long with going back and forth between planets. Worlds could have been smaller. The characters and stories were actually pretty good, but it was definately not the epic that the trilogy was. Still, overall, it was a good game. Mostly gaming media and fanboys hated it.
Some great games on there, but I could've done without tetris and a few others. I would have loved to have seen the old renovation titles, some taito and data east titles as well. Earthworm Jim was great, but 2 was better. Altered beast was a waste, along with kid chameleon and a couple others. Overall, I was happy with their selection.
