Panic? Lol. They will keep selling what they are selling. Xbone has been selling well, and that's cool. But the install base is already there for Sony. It can only grow from there.
I know one of my all time favorites was freedom wars. The battles and game play were insanely fun and addictive. So awesome when you would see people sawing off body parts, while ground support would be laying down fire .
I would like it, yes. Is it necessary, no. I have my old consoles still, and I grew up when backwards compatibility was not even thought of. I would mostly want my digital purchases to work, even if the disc did not. But that is the downside of digital. You give up your choice and allow the distributor to dictate the terms of how you can use it.
Flop or not, it looks like something I will enjoy greatly. Bend has done some great games, and I hope this game will break them through as a major developer.
So, whether they fix it in a week or a day, if it is not working as advertised, there is a case for a refund, if the customer so chooses. Yes, games have been expected not to work correctly day one, but that is the wrong expectation to have. The fact is, if there is a legitimate complaint, in a reasonable amount of time, customers are entitled to a refund if they so choose.
Refunds are deserved if a product does not perform as advertised. Online matches are part of the game. If that portion does not work as advertised, people should get their money back if they want. Consumer rights bitches.
Fuck all the hate from the gaming websites that this game got. The online didn't work for a month, but the single player was always there. A great game that now gets praise from the websites that hated it.
Some of these comments are funny from the pc guys. Here, they want to combine the pc and laptop numbers to come out on top, but if you say you have a gaming laptop, they will laugh and ostracize you from their "community". Lol. Pc mustard race.
I'm glad it failed, because it was trying to set a precedent for charging the living shit out of their customers. For me, I think turtle rock is overrated, but I hope they can make it through this and make a good game.
This game looks so good. Bend did a great job on uncharted, so I know they can make a great modern game. I didn't like syphon filter, so I'm glad they are pursuing a new ip. Very excited for this game.
Success or not, it makes no difference to me. I hope nintendo fans are happy with it, and it gets good games. I won't purchase one, but I'm sure people like it.
