haha. yeah, I actually played this on vita a couple of years ago, that's why it was really confusing. I started to play my ps4 one, but got sidetracked with other games. i'll definitely try the sensitivity thing, but I really didn't have any problems with controls. it was just on a boss, and you had to lock on and when you slingshot, at least on the vita, it was like where did everyone go?
nobody has to like every game. I, personally, enjoyed the heck out of the first one. it was a refreshing surprise to me, with a sweet protagonist and a fun world to explore. I personally thought the flight mechanics were pretty much some of the best at conveying the feeling of gravity controlled flight. the fighting got hectic at times, and confusing, but I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with the game. a breath of fresh air in a sea of first person shooters, and games that were dark and ...
my backlog is huge because I never buy games when they first come out. usually, i'll buy them at 10-20 bucks a pop, 3-4 at a time. lol. except for the vita. that damn thing has been pumping out games 3-4 a month at times.
only handheld I would buy is a vita 2 with clickable analogs, backwards compatibility, and reasonable memory cards. however, since that is pretty much a pipe dream, i'll stick with my tried and true vita. I still need to get a slim one dammit.
If the way you measure success is by 250,000,000 miles driven in forza, 5 billion zombies killed, 10 billion aliens killed, and 7 billion hours online, like Microsoft has been doing, then yes, it will succeed. But sales? No.
While I don't condone every decision they have done in the last 16 years, they have still managed to put out high quality titles and franchises in that time. The recent acquisition of atlus has greatly improved their standing in gaming, and it looks like they are starting to make some great decisions again. I have been a sega fan since 86, with the nes rivalry. I hope they can rise above their past for a great future.
So, realistically, they would not make a phone app if it were built into the system. It's possible that they mean for away from a WiFi source, but why make an app if it would rarely be used? Away from WiFi, you would be face to face with other linked consoles. Either way, Nintendo is doing a horrible job about information on this thing. F nintendo.
Well, if people are stupid enough to give up their rights for convenience, then I have no sympathy for them. I have lost digital content a few years ago and learned my lesson. Never will I accept an all digital gaming ecosystem. If it goes that way, then I will quit gaming, period. I still own some stuff digitally, but the lions share of my collection is physical. Good luck to you guys that have gone "all digital".
Get the f out of here with the switch justification. To be honest, the vita got hammered by the media over the years for some of the same reasons, except it actually does great things like free online.
