For me, I can't justify 300 bucks for a system that I would buy 5-10 games on. For 100 bucks, maybe. But no way 300. Couple of cool looking games but nintendo really fell short on the wii u.
Not really, because the ps3 is still supported. The install base is extremely high. The wii u base is a fraction of that. I'm not saying it's not a shotty move from nintendo, but they know the core nintendo fans will buy the switch. They are trying to get new people to buy the switch now.
Business wise it makes sense. Create a demand from people wanting one, and getting rid of the internal competition before the switch comes out. Not many people would buy both, and it seems they want to put all their efforts into the switch from here on out. Those that can't get a wii u will most likely buy a switch instead. Also, it might be too confusing to an average consumer to see all the Nintendo systems, and may pick up a wii u, instead of the switch, and be disappointed that the wi...
great on Capcom for changing the view and , in essence, the feel of the series. it can go in many directions from here. quit listening to the crying fanboys that always complain about the game. time to get some new fans.
It's blind brand loyalty and hive mind mentality. Not to offend anyone, but alot of choices are made based on what's popular, and who has it, rather than quality. This goes for many things, not just video games. There is a me too/ hive mind societal explosion, which seems to have manifested itself in the late 90s, growing to the monster that it is today. People are too fearful of the repercussions of having a different opinion.
It's all the little twitter millenials complaining. But, when you are in an industry that caters to pretty much children, teens and young adults, you have to deal with the immaturity that it brings and have a thick skin. Quantum break sucked, but I liked max Payne 3. Still gotta finish it......
I can be on board with some digital, but once consoles go all digital, with no choice, I quit gaming. Plain and simple. I have a 32 year backlog to work on anyway.
I meant repetitive in a bad way. The same 3 maps over and over. To me, it lost its luster quickly. If you enjoy it, great. For free, people will overlook it's shortcomings, and may even enjoy it. The gunplay and weapons are too similar to me and everything's a blaster sponge. I did enjoy it for the first hour, but then it felt like a chore.
Cool for free, but even then, I would be hard pressed to play it for more than an hour. The game just sucks period. A true star wars fan may like it, but it is the most repetitive piece of junk I have ever played. To each their own.
I really couldn't get into the whole flashlight mechanic . The gameplay felt off to me. I gave it a shot, but it really didn't grab me. One of these days, I'll probably try to revisit it.
