I was trading in a game system at gamestop and the guy ahead of me was trading in an Xbox one. They put a game in to test it out. It took almost 35 minutes to install the game. Anything faster than that is an improvement.
Linear is not a bad thing. Pointless and lifeless open world's with chores are a bad thing. A good solid story, with some interesting game play, with a point a to point b mentality is fine.
The difference is that psvr has the backing of a real gaming company, whereas the other two, better or not, have to depend on people to make the software for it. The games will only get better for the psvr, and won't be all porn software like the pc counterparts. If vr has a chance at real gaming, it's gonna start with the psvr, whether you like it or not.
What's funny is that when the vita was saying it would bring the console experience on the go, the gaming media said that's not what we want. Now they hype it up as something they've always wanted. Lol. Gaming media.
My most played device for the last 3 years. I have over 115 physical games, and a bunch more digital. It's become an obsession with me collecting games for it. It has surpassed my ps3 game collection as the largest. Lol.
It's nowhere near dead for the people that enjoy it. There were 15- 20 games released in the last 3 months alone. If you don't like jrpgs, then it's dead for you. It's my most played game device for the last 3 years.
This is one title that I don't mind waiting for. Persona always great. And to those that think 4 years is too long for development, you are wrong. This is not cod. They don't reuse the same engine, graphics, stories. This is a new world started from scratch along with animation and an actual lengthy story and character interaction. I can't wait.
If you don't have a ps4, unless money is an issue, I would get the pro. My original ps4 is good for now, but I'll probably upgrade in the future. The pro is an upgrade that will get better as time goes on, and it's relatively the same price. It's like buying a regular Camaro to an SS. sure, they both work, but some people like the extra horsepower.
