People talk about getting ripped off from game stop. I guess you could if you don't so research, and wait for their deals. Sure, if you buy a new game and trade it immediately, you will get ripped off. But when you take advantage of their offers, you can get some really good deals. I got 175 on a trade in for an old ps3, and I traded a few old games and got a ps4 for 100 bucks back in 2014. Bottom line is do research.
It could go one way or the other. I could see the appeal of either one, after a price drop. Can't see myself getting either if all the games play on the vanilla ones.
Innovative does not necessarily mean good. I think too many people want to ride the coattails of being part of something new and game changing. No pun intended. Solid gameplay, great characters and story, awesome worlds. That is what makes a great game to me.
I like how everyone is all "anthem!", even though they have been crying about mass effect andromeda. I will wait on both, but I did find Destiny fun when I first got it. Satisfying gunplay. Lasted a couple months before I traded it.
Here's the hypocritical games media once again, decrying the fact that mass effect won't be supported or continue, but relentlessly tear it down so people have second thoughts about buying it.
Sony has the vr, vita, ps4, ps4 pro, and a broad range of gaming experiences. Don't know how much more they can do to expand their base. Unlike microsoft, Sony does try to do things out of the norm to expand. Microsoft, besides their console, has the windows store. I guess that's enough for them?
