This game looks like a bad grand theft auto clone. An ADD dream as you jump through half finished objectives to check out a new area. Once you run through the novelty of it in a half an hour, it looks tedious.
They should make a pocket universe where players can see each other. Possibly just one, or a few planets where they can do what they want, like PvP, trade, do missions, etc.
I agree. being one of those guys that grew up during the Atari days forward, I actually enjoy modern gaming better. I still go back and play my old systems, but anything below the 16-bit days, I really don't feel the need to revisit.
The only thing they could really do is drop the slims and make those the main consoles. The experiment with the mid gen refreshes really don't work for consoles. Hopefully next gen, they just do powerful, or modular consoles.
It will sell. The haters will probably be the first to buy it, just like cod. I see it selling well on launch, and for the first month. For me, there has to be a reason to get it, and it's not power. Crossplay for What? Call of duty? Destiny? C'mon people. What are the true benefits for crossplay? It's already known that Microsoft refuses to with ff15. It would be cool for mmorpgs, but could you imagine the degradation of online with competitive online shooters?
In 5 or six years, yes, it could outsell ps4 theoretically lifetime. It would have to have some amazing 25 million unit years, along with selling 12- 15 million steady a year. It sold 5 million in six months, with production issues. Although, after the initial hype wears off, the games themselves will need to sell the system. That's where the problem lies. Those that want the games will have a switch already, so the new switch purchases will be significantly less. They will probably do sy...
