There's nothing wrong with showing a game early or in it's various stages of development, if there are updates. As a kid in the 80s, I would read magazines and follow development of games I liked. People seriously want it announced the day before it comes out?
Looks cool. Hopefully theres a variety of stages and some slower stages. They always have the on rails speed stages, but it would be cool to have some slower pace stages too.
Seriously, no. If I had to buy toys to unlock things in any of my Sony, Microsoft or pcs, I would quit gaming all together. Nintendo is the only ones that gets passes for these stupid moves.
Bottom line, the games aren't there. The variety and offerings have boiled down to third parties. They need to bring back some innovation and excitement in their internal studios.
If they include ps now into ps plus, which it should have been in the first place, that would make ps plus a good deal. They can still keep it separate for those that don't want ps plus.
It's hard for me to pay for a service. Especially at 60 bucks. If it were 40 and below, the mental barrier would be less. As it is, I haven't played anything multiplayer in 4 or 5 months now.
