Hmm, kind of reminds me of Halo 2's viral campaign.
This is pretty neat.
The Halo franchise has never done bullshots .
The game actually looks like that.
This one was the best episode yet.
The covenant's introduction was brilliant and..were those people falling down, screaming?
As long as it sells well, Activision will never pull call of duty away from the yearly-release cycle.
This trailer isn't about politics. Let's just leave that out as a discussion-driver.
eyes =/= face.
Exactly my plans. :D
Besides getting drunk, of course.
Perhaps that particular ambush is where the chief himself got captured and was the last thing he remembered before being knocked out, hence why it's so visually embedded into his memories?
edit:
@hufandpuf
I mentioned nothing about the quality of the trailer to my reply, just the ambush segment in relation to his memories. I don't know why you talk about general consensus given to the trailer by other websites.
The ending battle scene was awesome. Now, if there was to be any Halo movie starring the chief, I'd want it to look like that.
Just sounds like someone who appreciates the franchise and what it has done over the past decade or so.
What's with the question mark?
It's obvious the demand is down.
Honestly, you can't say anything about that unless you know the exact or general number of people who have been banned.
I don't know about that, but I'd rather have the influence and talent of the team who originally created and successfully modernized the franchise rather than the current IW.
I'm sure if the old IW team were still around, they'd change it up quite a bit.
I miss them. :(
In those pics, MW 3 actually looks worse than MW 2. :/
Yeah. If they old IW team was still there in one piece, I wouldn't be surprised if Treyarch continued to be the "B team" of the franchise.
But now that the current IW is a shell of its former self with the majority of the employees with no past experience on a call of duty title, it makes sense that this "IW" is the "B team" now.
Sad story, really. When the original creators leave, it always sucks.
Ok, neither of you guys have played the full, complete game.
So, until then..
I haven't played them yet..
But if I had to pre-choose from those, I'd say Halo 4. Everything about the game, every component, looks fantastic and well-built.
That's only if you want to use it on the xbox 360.
The real story here is xbox music on windows 8, windows phone 8, and other platforms where it will retain free ad-supported streaming like spotify.
Since this will come pre-packaged with all windows 8 devices, I'm sure it'll see success considering the exposure.
Sales are sales and you can't deny cod's popularity, but I haven't bought a new cod since modern warfare 2.
I still play call of duty 4 and mw 2 and, seeing the new titles in action, I can't say I'm missing much.
I just can't justify spending $60 on a game that runs and looks nearly identical to the previous titles.
That's just me and my take on this franchise.
Great numbers, but I still think the big three for this fall are being under-tracked.
It was 4 weeks ago when a gamestop rep confirmed that halo 4, b ops 2, and ac 3 all had 1+ mil pre-orders with gamestop in the us alone.
