Looks really fun, but I think one thing they should have changed is that the winning goal should create an explosion.

There have been several hundreds of people that have their copies already. Either it got shipped early or some stores broke date.
They don't have that option yet.
343i have said that it and other traditional modes will be added in post-launch. They wanted to keep the playlists short for launch so they can get everything organized and ready.

Having already played Halo 4, I actually think Halo 4 puts out the most cohesive and understanding Halo yet.

Just another reason Metacritic shouldn't be taking approvals from a website like this.
The Halo 4 finals between the warriors and ambush was pretty darn intense, especially when the warriors couldn't wait any longer for the ambush team to come out of hiding. They bashed down the ambush bases and nabbed enough kills to win a last-second game. The score literally switched 4-5 times in the last 3 seconds.
Eh, I'm not even going to bother saying anything here.
My energy's all used up with that EGM review.

I didn't think I'd like windows 8 due to all the negativity and bad press, but, after using it for 2 months now, the majority of that negativity is pretty much gone for me.
It takes the best of Windows 7 and adds in some quirky new stuff with some across-the-board performance enhancements and I'm really loving it so far.

the reviewer over at egm gave halo 4 a 7.0 for all the wrong reasons. basically, he wanted a carbon copy of a call of duty game- iron sights, michael bay-esque cliche moments, small environments, etc.
I wouldn't have minded if he gave halo 4 a 7.0, but the reasons he came up with are just frustratingly ridiculous.
If this was a hoax, I can't believe the lengths some individuals would go to just to make a company look bad.

I think both franchises have got their own respective fanbases and players, so I don't think either one is going to immensely threaten the other in terms of sales.
The most that will happen is a few shifts here and there.
At least, in the short term..
Long term wise, it could be a different story.
