If the new consoles (720 and ps4) really do end up selling very well, I can definitely see amd benefiting immensely, especially when nvidia isn't involved.
Seeing as how microsoft's pc business is also on the line with the surgence of tablets and smartphones, they probably want to take the next xbox as seriously as they can. I'm really hoping they hit the ground running with their next xbox (along with the ps4). In the end, gamers are the winners, imo.
Something like an 'xbox mini' would definitely be something cool to have. I'm just hoping, if it is real, it won't be pricey. But then again, I don't plan on selling my 360, so I don't believe it'll be an issue for me but day-1 integration into the next xbox (of backwards compatibility) or gradual roll-out would be convenient.
I honestly don't know why ms hired him in the first place.
When he was a designer at Sony, he practically dissed Halo in an interview. Maybe he had some worthwhile abilities, but I wouldn't want to hire someone who can't respect the key franchise related to any certain company.
I think just one- the outcast map.
The console, if released this year, is potentially still over 7-8 months from launch.
I never take the idea of buying a piece of hardware lightly, more especially if it's going to dig a hold in my wallet. Honestly, I have never let rumors, no matter how ridiculous or sound they may be or have been, convince me, particularly this early prior to a product launch, to either support or abandon it prior to release.
I don't know why so many individuals are such in ...
these definitely are the best in halo 4, along with haven. They really do remind me of halo 2, especially perdition as it's akin to terminal.
I just don't like it as purple because it's similar to kid buu.
Maybe a light blue or green color would have worked to avoid those comparisons.
But I dig it either way.
I think it looks alright. Just wish it wasn't purple.
o.0
Seriously?
That's insane. If I had that much money, I'd settle on buying a little cottage somewhere and just relax.
um, what?
I'm pretty sure zelda, super smash, and pikmin have all been confirmed by nintendo.
"and none of them are new zelda, mario, super smash, etc etc"- I really have no idea what you're trying to say here..
I'm just waiting for Zelda Wii U and super smash bros. Those are the games I usually buy all Nintendo home consoles for. And the new pikmin looks great as well.
Sure, there are a ton of games for the system, but maybe not the right ones needed for the high uptake Nintendo is hoping for, imo.
...if the rumors are true. :/
And I fully believe that they aren't. But feel free to disagree.
man, this looks awesome.
so glad I got that pikachu-themed 3ds.
are you referring to the actual halo franchise?
if so, I don't see that happening as ms owns all rights to the halo franchise. only way that would happen is if ms decides to close shop on their console business and sell the halo rights to a publisher or sony or back to bungie.
a good number of their studios only recently opened up and haven't been around long enough to develop a game and put it out.
though, I'm especially curious as to what black tusk studios is developing.
Hopefully.
I've played all of their Halo games and I even have that neat HALO emblem on my Reach gamecard to show for it.
I'm an xbox owner and I have always planned on getting the new xbox....if these rumors are false.
And I'm not going to hide the fact that I feel that these rumors are fake and that microsoft's plans are going to be different.
Always online has several interpretations and I'm not going to let one of them rule me in my decisions and judgements. I'd rather just wait until microsoft actually announces their console before jumping ship.
I'm in no rush to deliver judgement.
I can wait it out. I mean...what's wrong in having patience?
I love this game.
Dig the focus on co-op.
I think zune is great and had no issues with it. Even the sound quality was superior to a ton of other mp3 devices I had used including my ipod touch and is one of the reasons why I still use a Zune hd to this day.
It's just too bad it never gained traction with the general public but whoever did use it had very positive thing to say about it.
As for the 720, I think the 'always online' feature is probably reserved not for the games, but rather ...
