as a gamer myself, I want to be able to get the fullest gaming experience I possibly can.
And if that means getting all the consoles for the games that I want, I don't see that as an excuse. Rather, it's rational reasoning.
you do realize that he's only saying that because he hasn't contacted by microsoft and has had bad communications with them in the past with the 360, right?
the indie dev is just making inferences and guesses and probably has no real basis on which to make the statements he did. that article really should have been submitted as a rumor than news..

you know...I was for microsoft just waiting until whenever they wanted to show off their next xbox...but at this point they just need to come out and either confirm or dismiss some of these rumors.
I can wait, I've got patience, but almost everyone here seems to take something some people say as truth even when I'm pretty darn sure it's being based off inferences or guesses.
so....what you're saying is that even if people have played both uncharted and tomb raider on their ps3, they must agree that uncharted is better than tomb raider, otherwise they're an "xbox fan??"

Seeing as how most kinect games sales have fallen off a cliff despite the sensor itself having such a high attach rate, I hope that ms got the point of not focusing too much on kinect next-gen.
I mean...Fable journey (a game in a major first party franchise) sales alone should have convinced them of that.

Ok...I've just finished the game and no way do I see it getting anything below a 7.
Personally, I think it's a solid 8 and I do understand some of the issues that plague the game but a 5 out of 10???

Halo is one franchise that will not see a launch game for the next xbox, unless it's something like Halo Wars or a spin-off like ODST.
Regarding kinect, I just hope the motion input is vastly improved.
Granted, I myself don't use kinect, but my family really digs it. I'm just hoping ms doesn't give kinect 2.0 any significant spotlight when they do announce the system.
After having played the game, I actually dig the game.
Granted, the first two are superior, but nothing in dead space 3 really is overwhelmingly disappointing.
Just a few small things that could have made the game better, but I feel those complaints are few for me.
