If rare is reviving old franchises and actually putting good work into them or even new ones, then I'm happy. I just hope the games turn out well.
Their work with their viva pinata games gives me a little hope that the team can still pull off good games.
We're still months from launch of either console. At this point, it's still anyone's game. What it will come down to will be price, software, availability, features, etc.
Take the launch of the wii and xbox 360/ps3. Xbox 360 was launched first with a full year's start and the wii has easily passed it up and the ps3 and the xbox 360 are nearly identical sales wise.
ms has so many ips that they don't use, I just hope we see more of them revived on the next xbox.
A Perfect Dark reboot sounds great. Its multiplayer has tons of potential; I remember playing the original's mp all day with my cousins.
I've spent way too much time with skyrim and have gone back to finishing up some oblivion quests. But if there is more content, I will happily jump back to skyrim.
Wow, despite slow wii u sales, I wasn't expecting them to pull out of e3. I suppose it must cost a ton for them or anyone to reserve spaces, hire people, and hold conferences. Hopefully, they hold something else in place of e3 like nintendo direct.

I'm definitely pining for a new alan wake and the revival of an old rare franchise.
Though, I also hope we get to see a sneak peek of black tusk's upcoming game.

I doubt it'll drop that much, unless costs to make the machine have gone down drastically or ms just wants to flood homes with xbox 360s.
I still plan on purchasing next-gen consoles, but I am beginning to see the benefits of pc gaming, so I'll likely pick up a lenovo y400 or y500 next year.
I agree. I was amazed to see the show fall so fast after such an fantastic and slick start.
I loved this show before the writers completely screwed it up, but if they can fix the major flaws, I'm in.
