Great news for anyone who wants that hasn't gotten one yet.
Like kingxtreme81 said, the notice doesn't specifically state a 'day one' edition.
He isn't.
This was just his final speech to the company's shareholders.
He remains on as CEO until the board decides on his successor, which might not be until early next year.
Ballmer really does love Microsoft and I dig how he's always been very passionate about it.
He's made some flaws, but I think, in many ways, Ballmer has laid key groundwork for the future CEO to build and thrive on.
Bing is slowly gaining ground and turning profits now, their windows phone division is seeing 100%+ yoy increases in sales, the next xbox is going to set a record compared to the xbox 360's launch sales, the azure cloud services are quickly gaining ...
That's awesome.
I got the app for my windows phone, but my little brother will be happy it's already out for his galaxy.
Nintendo's killing it with these holiday titles in terms of critical reception.
They really do have some great game devs with them.
I'm definitely digging the conversational type of interaction here. And man, those results come up pretty darn fast. Hopefully, that rumor about a cortana-esque assistant is true and makes its way to windows phones and desktops soon.
I still can't fathom buying a game like angry birds for any home console, but I suppose some people will.
This week is definitely going to be great.
Getting a new Zelda and a new xbox console with Forza...feels like Christmas is here early. :)
As much as we all would want it to happen, I don't think BF 4 will outsell Ghosts.
I'm digging the sky drive upload option. Looks like a breeze to do as well.
Looks impressive.
The story is what intrigues me (it's awesome that some game of thrones actors are in this game) the most and I hope it delivers on that front.
I can see that.
Honestly, when I see a bunch of reviews for different games in one day, I normally just read one and tend to skim over the other ones because of work and school.
I dig how they're staggered out like this, definitely gives me solid time to go over each.
I'm just replaying some old forza and halo games. And some battlefield 4-> can't wait to see the difference on the x1.
That's an insane amount of money they have as just a gaming company.
It's good to know nintendo is financially stable.
The day when the new zelda releases for the wii-u is the day I'll buy the wii-u. Zelda or a new metroid. Those games alone are worth buying a wii-u for.
I agree.
If the game looks fun to you and has something you think you'd truly enjoy over time, then you should buy it, because the reviewers will almost never have the same opinions and preferences as you.
I'm so glad thanksgiving break is literally right after the x1 launch.
Tons of free time to play.
Forza 5 and Battlefield 4 all night.
Does nintendo even have the kind of money to buy the xbox division??
Don't get me wrong, I love the big N, but this will never happen.
the steam machine is not even close to being on my radar.
I've got a great pc, a handheld, and an xbox and ps, so what's the point, really?
I'm really not trying to start anything here (even though you already did), but I'd take the fun factor and gameplay over resolution/higher fps any day.
If I can't enjoy something, there's no point in the higher fps and resolution bumps.
He isn't.
Many journalists just like to think so mainly because microsoft failed to capitalize early on in the smartphone industry, giving their competition an immensely successful and early head-start.
But, with windows phone seeing significant (100+%) yoy increases in sales, I imagine the future is bright for microsoft's phone os/hardware division.
