Not even for the campaign?
I honestly didn't think much of this game when it was revealed (probably due to a poor reveal trailer), but oh man, it's looking darn sweet now.
And I'm really digging that background soundtrack.
Hopefully, we see a good spike in numbers in mp with this free give-away. There are some modes that I want to play but takes forever to find matches sometimes.
Yup, one of the main reasons why I chose to buy one at launch as well.

This upcoming console 'war' or 'battle' or whatever you want to call it will probably last in excess of 10 years.
I think all participants will have various opportunities to make slip-ups, come-backs, etc.
It wasn't too late for the ps3 and I don't suspect it's too late for any console now in the upcoming generation.
Mainly via online retailers that hold sales a few times a year where the price is cheaper than normal.
I'm set till 2017 as I bought a good number of live cards for 25 bucks each a while back.

Even after all these years, windwaker is a superb playthrough. Heck, I just play through it again and again just to enjoy the sights and sailing.

I am not a casual gamer and I am not an 'idiot fanboy,' yet I am a console-only player.
And it isn't because of any reasons you stated. I don't play on my pc because it isn't powerful enough to run the games that I want to play.
And the same goes for some of my friends.
I really don't think it's the controller that's causing it to lag. Just came back from trying out the xbox one at one of the microsoft stores a while ago and there was no lag at all.
It's either the beta or the display.

Looks like hectic fun with great visuals to me.
But then again, that is subjective.
Valve's plans will probably amount to nothing more than a niche following.
I'd rather they just concentrate more on making games.
Hopefully, this boosts the population enough so that some of the sparse playlists become more readily playable.
If only we get a halo 2 anniversary that features the original halo 2 mp re-made in full hd glory. Oh man, I'd buy such a game in a heartbeat.
