besides, Phil Spencer just commented that the daily build is looking greater, graphically, than the cgi trailer.
preserve the mp, preserve the mp, preserve the mp.
Honestly, that's the one major thing they need to worry about before moving onto other aspects of the game (if this game indeed exists).
um, don't all three console-makers do this?
and what ms does with its anniversary editions is not just a simple hd spruce up. They actually upgrade the look of the entire game. Well worth a purchase, imo.
"Halo 2s multiplayer didn't age well."
I play Halo 2 mp to this day- local with a few friends and family almost every month. We have loads of fun, more fun than any other current mp right now. It's aged quite well, I assure you.
And the fact that pretty much everyone on the forums compares future installments to Halo 2's classic mp is more proof of that.
You should give that article a read again. That's not what phil said at all.
I'm perfectly ok with this.
For one, 343i would have more time for Halo 5 (I really, really do not want them to rush it out).
Another, I freaking love Halo 2. So, either way, I'm happy.
If it's true, then I'm relieved. Otherwise, the development time would have been pretty short.
Also, if you think this insider has any credibility, he/she's dropped one more major bomb in the forums. ;)
If this rumor has any credibility, then thank god ms is letting them take their time with crackdown 3. I still cannot believe crackdown 2 had only 8 months development time.
No, I think by then (2016) it would have been in development for around 4 years.
I think bungie is doing the same type of deal/conditions with activision.
It's probably a normal thing in the industry.
Really terrific boxart, but man...it's just too expensive. Can't afford it.
this is totally wicked.
Creating cutscenes has always been something I've wanted to do, will definitely check it out on the x1.
I agree. Having games will push numbers here and there, but I thin the most obvious and significant factor is that 100$ price gap.
They should just beef up the x1's interface so it's more usable without the kinect and just release a non-kinect sku with a knocked down price of $399. That's probably a move that will do major numbers for them, but I don't suspect they'll take that route anytime soon.
Having played the game myself at several events, I personally have never been more excited to play a mp game.
But, to each his/her own and opinions will be different across the board. We won't know for sure until the game is released and we've compared the numbers over time.
@disagrees
I honestly don't know what there was to disagree with my statement. That I'm excited for the game? That opinions will vary? That we won't know for sure ...
I'm just going off of previous examples and following that trend, I'm just stating the obvious.
But if amazon, somehow, changes that perception and trend, then that'll be a first.
If the studio does a job comparable to what 343i did with Halo, I'll be more than happy.
fortunately, for me, this game looks to be just my type of game. :)
Like any android-based console, it'll likely fail to capture any significant portion of the market.
Ok...I was with the rumors up until this.
At this point, I think ntkrnl is just screwing around now.
